Much better than I was expecting!

I recently decided to swap out my Nest Cameras for something new. After much "research" I decided on Reolink Cameras. As luck would have it, Best Buy started carrying Reolink Cameras so I of course bought them from here.
The Duo Camera is quite an interesting camera. The FOV allowed me to swap out two cameras for one. Now instead of one camera on each side of my garage exterior, I have one (the Duo). I ended up mounting it higher than my previous cameras but the picture quality is still great. In fact it's better than the two (Nest IQ outdoors) cameras it replaced.
Now I can't say how it could be improved but I really dislike the mount. It was a pain that I ended up making a separate hole for the cable, instead of just being able to hide the cables behind the camera. I thought that was the reason for the hole in the mount but it was too small for the plugs to fit through.
The Reolink app is not as user friendly as the Nest App but it's better than the Google Home App (for cameras). I'm already getting used to it so before I know it, I'll forget about the little quirks.
Speaking of Google Home, I have a bunch of Nest Hub displays, large and small. While you can watch your video feed on them, it doesn't load up as fast as with the Nest Cameras. Also, the feed won't continue indefinitely like it does (or used to) with the Nest Cameras.
I thought about getting an NVR to use with the Duo and the other Reolink cameras that I purchased but apparently you lose the ability to have the camera feed on the Nest Hubs. Instead, I purchased 256GB micro sd cards (from Best Buy of course) and so far, things have been working fine.
The Smart Night mode works really well. The camera transitions quickly from regular night vision to color night mode as soon as the built in spotlights turn on. Even if there isn't any other source of light, the image quality is great.
The Duos Detection is also something that has greatly impressed me. There has been several times when I've reviewed video clips and it took me a bit to find the person that was detected.
Unlike my other Reoilnk Cameras, the microphone on the Duo isn't too bad. Maybe it's position blocks some of the noise but I can have the sound turned on without it having a lot of wind buffeting.
I would recommend this to a friend

Used this to replace a dome camera with a smaller field of view. Was surprised at how much area it covered even after knowing it was 180 degrees. Fit my needs perfectly.
