I've been buying the name brand filters every time despite the cost. BB happened to have a good deal on these filters so I bought four. Very happy with purchase.

Also, I can actually get a better price at BestBuy than by purchasing from GE and don't have to buy 3 of these at a time for savings.

I highly recommend this one over some of the off-brand. It's only a few dollars more, but there is at least 2 months more life on this one.

I’ve had it 19 days. Only concern is I had to already press reset on my fridge for the filter to reset when I’ve only had it less than a month

It might work for a week or so, but will soon start. Stick to the GE Factory water filter. The extra money is well worth it.
