A little pricey but easy to install and great quality

Works great and the water tastes good so I don’t longer need to buy bottled water. It easy to install.

Pros: The water tastes great and the filter lasts about 6 months. Cons: Expensive. Cheaper, non-brand name replacements are available, but I've found that they don't always fit, despite listing my fridge as being compatible (Home Depot offers one at half this price, but it didn't fit despite what it promised on the label...)

The Samsung water filter does not leak and fits perfectly. I have used generic brands in the past and have had them leak. I didn't appreciate having to clean up all that water over everything. I was told that Best Buy doesn't stand behind the generic brands and that any damage would void my Samsung warranty. Its double the money but no issues. Worth it.

So glad that Best Buy carries this water filter for my Samsung Refrigerator. It makes it so convenient to get this product from the store. And this filter is so easy to install. The only down side to this filter is that it is pretty pricey to purchase.

The replacement water filter is about as easy as pie. Simply twist off the old and twist on the new. The most difficult part is running the 3 gallons of water through the filter, but this is a great time to water some plants. I have been using these products for about six years with no regrets. Easy to use and yields clean, great tasting drinking water.

The Samsung filters that end in G vs F do a much better job at filtering water. I did have concerns about whether or not this filter would fit as the thread pattern as other reviewers have stated is very different from the past thread pattern. However, I found it screwed in easily and hasn’t leaked since installation.

Fits perfectly, easy to install, no problems whatsoever.

We have been purchasing this replacement water filter for our Samsung fridge for 12 years now and it filters out all the yucky tasting stuff from our water. It pours crystal clear and tastes fabulous. Easy to install and reasonably priced.

Refrigerator water filters are not a discretionary purchase, but the ease of installation and consistent quality of this filter eliminates the pain of having to buy them. It takes almost no time and usually no mess. Even better, you can always find them in stock at Best Buy. Not true of other filters at other stores.

East to install and works well. Samsung brand is superior to the generic one that Best Buy offers. It’s worth it to pay a little more but get a better quality product.

A perfect fit for my Samsung fridge; easy to install; no leaks! The only issue I have is that the last one (genuine Samsung) lasted only 5 months. I'm a true believer in buying original parts for my appliances and Best Buy always have Samsung filters in stock!

Great product always bought Samsung appliances so keeping up with the Samsung original water filter also. Keeps filtering great on ice and water always.

+ easy to install + decent water taste - a bit pricy

This filter is great and very easy to install. Only drawback is when to first change the filter with a new one, you have to run the water for several minutes in order for the water to taste normal. After that, the water tastes good and fresh.

Samsung has changed the top and it makes it hard to get into the unit. I think I now know what to do to make it easier.
