The easy twist-to-install design makes installing the filter quick and easy. The only thing I dislike about this item is its price. They are priced at around $50, I mean that is a lot for a filter. And if they only last for six months that is around $100 a year you will have to invest into your fridge. I would have given this product a better review but the price is a sticking point for me.

It's exactly what I needed

Then I found a helpful salesman who verified the number on that one matched what I should buy. Then it was just a matter of bringing it home, removing the old one, reading the instructions sheet and completing the required steps to fit in the new filter, prime the line, and turn off the red warning light on my fridge. My son said I did pretty good installing it on my own. That's a compliment coming from a maintenance man.

problems with fit

It's a great filter and the water from my refrigerater tastes like spring water. However, this last time the filter does not fit into my refrigerator. I've asked other people who have a samsung refrigerator and they said from time to time they have problems with the fit of the filter. Hopefully, this problem can be resolved because I really love the taste of the water when the filter is operational. If I had no problem with the fit I would have easily rated this product a 5.
