Great film. Saw it for the first time 20 years ago. Still awesome today.

My favorite scene in the entire film is when Tim Roth's character has to learn his "in" story to tell the criminals. His boss tells him he has to know the story inside and out but it doesn't have to be memorized, just the details have to be there, and he needs to own it. It's a montage of him rehearsing the story, telling it to his boss, to an empty apartment, practicing story beats, pauses, things to do with his body in between words and sentences...it's acting at its best as it becomes an actor, pretending to be a cop, pretending to be a criminal, rehearses his deception. The story itself is sliced into digestible segments like a Kurosawa film where the segments reveal the whole picture and serves as the blueprint for how Pulp Fiction was ultimately edited together story wise. If you love films or are interested in becoming involved in film in any fashion, this movie should be at the top of your homework list.
