This game is even better than I was expecting! They have done the original true justice!

RE2 Remake was a fun game, but I cannot help but long for how superior a remake the 2002 Resident Evil Remake was for the Nintendo Gamecube, which I felt expanded and surpassed but still kept the spirit and terror of the PSOne's 1996 original. RE2 Remake felt like they attempted to expand the scale of Raccoon City while inversely cutting corners on the gameplay, theatrics, drama, and tropes. It is a pretty game; textures and lighting sure add to the ambiance but I am still iffy to the idea of RE doing third-person instead of fixed cameras. Not a fan that they kinda consolidated the A & B scenarios of the original to essentially make the same scenario for both Leon & Claire. I commend Capcom for giving free DLC a couple weeks after its release, and I hope there will be more DLC in the future to expand on the actual story itself. Overall, it is worth experiencing, but don't expect the ‘Remake’ quality of the Gamecube's RE Remake.

This game is great. It’s a lot like the older play styles, but completely rewritten. It’s a great game! Fun puzzles and there’s of course the zombies. The lore is great too, learning about the city and all of the history. In my opinion, RE1-4 are the best of the series with my favorite being #3, and #2. So I’m really happy they remade this game. It’s perfect and a dream come true!!

Resident Evil 2 is one of the greatest survival horror games that I have played taking the amazing re engine from RE7 and combing it with RE4's more over the shoulder perspective, and putting you into enclosed spaces where you have to decide how you are going to make your way through the levels solving puzzles to progress and constantly having enemies on your heels pushing you forward.

I think the game is a great action game. The graphics are good with good story.

All I can say is play this. A full remake of the original classic from the original PlayStation. Capcom tapped into the power of the PS4 and made a beautiful game. if I had any problems it is that they didn't really handle the scenarios as good as the original one, but that doesn't take from the game it's still awesome.

Resident evil 2 influenced the way i will live for the rest of my life and not in just some half assed way. Capcom has really done it with this amazing masterpiece and have gained themselves the title of King of Remakes!! This game is absolutely what I could've asked for. It has got RE4's view that actually fits perfectly! This game is a must play for everybody!!

Great game,great graphics , and story, also replay-ability is there

For those familiar with the RE franchise, RE1 was remade for gamecube and fairly recently for PS4/XBone. It was a huge jump from the original, and it's fair to say that this remake far exceeded the original. It pays homage to RE2 from PS1, while still managing to throw in a few twists to keep the fans on their toes. Highly recommend for fans and newcomers

RE2 Remake was everything I hoped for not only in a remake but particularly for this remake. It stays faithful to the original but expands on it in every way. Not only can you play the game in a different perspective but now the tension is ramped up as well. This is a 10/10 game and one of this year's best. If you haven't picked it up, you should. Now.

Picked up this Deluxe edition for PS4 on release day. I was hesitant, because it's a reboot (there's way too many in my opinion), but now I am happy I got it. What a fantastic reimagining of a classic title from the early days of PlayStation history! Highly recommend picking it up if you are a fan of the original or the series in general!

Resident Evil 2 was one of my favorite Playstation games growing up. I have been eagerly awaiting the remake of this game and I was not disappointed once it finally arrived. The visuals are absolutely stunning especially if you are able to play it on a 4K HDR display. If you are a fan of Resident Evil this is an absolute must buy.

This might be my favorite Resident Evil game ever. The graphics are amazing, the classic RE play style is retained in solving puzzles, conserving ammo, and figuring out what to do next. It's tense, it's fun, it's just a blast to play. And wait until Tyrant introduces himself! You'll have nightmares! Game of the year candidate.
