I originally played the original back on 1998 and it was an extremely frightening and great experience and once I played this new remake once again I experienced that awesome experience but with some small changes on the story that make this remake a gem among gamers both veterans and newcomers, highly recommendable!

RE2 Remake expands on the original game. Giving a more realistic aspect to these characters. Exploring the raccoon city police department is some of the most horrifying and on edge moments you will get in the game these days. I recommend playing at night with a headphones for the best experience.

Leon is a young rookie reporting for his first day of work at Raccoon City police dept. Worst first day of work EVER! Big Bad Zombies are everywhere beautifully rendered in all their disgusting glory. Gameplay is smooth and snappy, storyline is well done with people to save and bad guys to kill. Very enjoyable on every level.

Game is the best in 2019! Do not sleep on this game!

The graphics and story just brings the game to life

I have to say that this is still one of my favorite games this year and it is a front runner for my personal game of the year. I played the original right before this came out and wow this reimagining deviates but also makes everything so much better. If you are a fan of RE at all pick this up right now.

I have followed the Resident Evil games ever since the very first game on the playstation. The second RE game was one of my all-time favorites. The developer team did a really good job in remaking the second RE game, its also made in a way any new player to the franchise can get into it. Highly recommend.

I was a kid when the original came out and vaguely remember playing it, however from a child’s perspective. The remake is beautiful, scary, and absolutely everything you would want as both a newcomer or someone coming back to experience it again. It’s definitely worth the buy.

What a game. I am a huge resident evil fan, and I have been looking forward to this game for over 5 years. It was well worth the wait. The Capcom devs have honed their skills on the RE Engine and it shows. It's a beautiful game with great atmosphere, gameplay, and puzzles.

I am a huge fan of the original RE Series on PS1, and I can honestly say this game did not disappoint me. The game shares a lot of similarities to the original, but it feels and plays like a completely new game. The game also has a lot of replayability. Now I'm hoping for remakes of RE3 and Code Veronica.

The Resident Evil 2 remake is one of the best reimagine \ remakes in years. Capcom has taken all of the pieces that made the original so memorable and exciting and made enough quality of life and graphical updates to bring it into the current gen. If you ever played Resident Evil 4 this is a must buy.

Resident Evil 2 was one of my favorite games from back in the day and when they remade the very first Resident Evil on GameCube I thought it was the best remake ever. Now that title has been passed to it's sequel. Bigger and badder than the first game or the original release. Stop reading. Buy it.

This game is amazing! I love all Resident Evil games and have played almost every single one. To see one of the original ones remade is great! Like playing a whole new game. If you are a fan of scary games or just a Resident Evil fan like me, you need to get this!!! Good luck and save your ammo!!!!

I remember playing this game when it first came out like 20 years ago. While it does preserve the story and characters, the upgrades are immense. This is truly a re-imagined version of an already masterpiece. Hours of thriller and suspense with the more than occasional scare. Super recommended!!

Being an original RE fan from the get go, back in the day. This remake is a stays true and good to the original with a few much needed updates. There are many reviews online regarding this game but my $.02 is: If you liked/loved the original game you'll like/love this game. Highly recommended.

wThis game is amazing!!! It brought back memories of the original launch for the playstation!!! Has been updated visually and mechanically!!! Awesome gaming experience!!! Still waiting for my preorder code for the DLC content... hopefully I will get it soon... other than that.. AMAZING!!

Love the game it’s a fun remake and I enjoy all the free little things you get even though you pretty much paid extra for it anyway. Either way the grafics are much better and the remake is really fun! If you love Resident Evil from the begging and now I recommend you getting this game!

Played the original RE2 back on the PS1 but this is the real deal. Graphics, gameplay, and a total modernization of the classic game is definitely worth experiencing all over again.

I've loved this gaming franchise since the first game, and after hearing about a remastered version of the second game, I knew I instantly had to get it. The game is terrifying but extremely fun and anyone who is a resident evil fan or just horror fan in general should try this game.

I am half way through this epic game and I am getting the same awesome and terrifying feeling for when i played the original over 20 years ago. Even though it is early,this should be in your top three picks for game of the year. Capcom has out done themselves with this one!
