A fantastic remaster of the original PlayStation. The gameplay is excellent; characters and environments look exceptionally well in the new engine, which really makes this feel like a brand new game. A bit short, replayability is a must to experience everything to offer.

I remember the original release vividly and they did a wonderful job of updating for this current generation. The engine makes this game shine and the subtle changes here and there connect it wonderfully. When using the original soundtrack the fear is still there.

Everything about this remake is amazing. It's everything I could have wanted. The game play is just as good if not better than the original and I love the over the shoulder cam instead of the fixed cam. It keep the original its own and adds a twist to this update.

Already had high expectations for this remake when it was announced/revealed but those were surpassed. If you haven't played a Resident Evil game this is a great entry point. This is a must buy for any veterans of RE. Very pleased with how this remake turned out.

I was looking forward to this title since I first heard about it. It did not disappoint me at all. Once I started playing I was getting flashes of when I played the original game on PlayStation. The game play is really smooth, and the graphics look amazing.

If you love survivor horror than you should buy this. Costumes and beginner handguns are paid dlc but you won't be using them later on once you get better weapons and upgrade the main handgun. other playable side-character missions are free updates.

The engine that powered Resident Evil 7 brings this classic looking a great as it’s ever been. Familiar yet different it’s been such a long time since I’ve beat RE2 on my old pc. Hoping they remake other titles in the series. Particularly Code: Veronica.

Whether you've played the original title or not, Resident Evil 2 is quite possibly the perfect remake. It will make you understand what made the original so influential, while redefining triple-A horror titles in the current gaming generation. LOVE IT!

I was never into zombie/survival horror games when I was younger. Started playing Resident Evil with 5 and really fell in love with the series with 7. I'm so glad that Capcom decided to do this, because this game is AMAZING. Can't recommend it enough.

Capcom has been on a roll and this is no different. More companies should take note on how to properly remake a classic and loved game. They took what was great in the original, expanded on that, and added amazing new features and game play. Amazing!

If you enjoy playing horror survivor games then this game is for you. I believe this game is the new standard that other games will be compared to. If you ever played the original resident evil 2 (and liked it) then this game is a must.

As soon as i saw the trailer I was excited of playing this game. And the game survive the hype, the remake plays good, scary, challenging, awesome game. in my opinion a combination of resident evil2 + resident evil 4 game is a win. Recommended.

If you are a Resident Evil fan this one it's a no brainer, the original Re2 was amazing and this remake might be the best in the series period, I don't regret picking this one day one :) and BestBuy was the best by adding the steelbook for free

A long wait for this game and when it came out it has been one of the best experiences I can have coming from a classic game such as resident evil 2. One of the better remakes out there these days for sure.

This is hands down in my opinion the best Resident Evil game ever made! The visuals are stunning! The game captures everything RE is meant to be! Keeps you on your toes, never a dull moment in this! Please do yourself a favor and buy it!

Remakes always invoke mixed feelings. Seeing a old favorite game with New graphics and mechanics, but a typical loss of what it was. This game breaks past those fears builds a unique new experience be while remaining true to it's roots.

I love RE2 on my N64. Its my favorite RE game, and the first one I've ever played through. RE2 remake is amazing! It captures the feel of the old school version while modernizing it, but without betraying it! A must have for any RE2 fan!

As a fan of the classic resident evil series, before resident evil 4, this game met all of my expectations. I have been waiting for a classic resident evil remake and this was it. Now I’m just hoping they remake re nemesis next.
