Amazing remake of the original a must play great story

If you're into survival horror, you will probably like this. I have played through as Leon and I'm going back to run through Claire's experience. I never played this back in the day but I did love RE 4 (original played on gamecube) and it's subsequent HD version. This has real replay value and I am happy I picked it up!

A classic remade with a new engine by Capcom that brings everything to life. Lightting, character models, reflections, overall amazing visual fidelity. All while keeping key aspecs of the game that we remember from the original while adding new ones. A remake done right.

This is the first game i finish in a while and it was worth it play both campaigns and at moments you feel stuck but i was able to beat it I have 5 kids and barely anytime to play and this game made me make time to play it I was happy with it when i was younger and i enjoyed it just as much now.

Welcome aboard the nostalgia train. It is like I am 8 years old again just with much better graphics. If you played the original this is one you can’t pass up, just as frightening as you remember. Even new to the series if you like horror genre or zombies I would recommened picking it up.

I cannot say enough good things about this game. It’s such a well-made reimagining of the original game 20 years ago. You don’t need to be a veterian if the series to pick this up and enjoy it. If you love horror games, I highly doubt you could bring a better one home this year.

If you love the original re2 you'll be happy with the fantastic upgrades to this remake make. Fast, reliable game play. Graphics are on point. Fun to play and alot of replayability. If you like zombies, guns and puzzle solving. This is a game for you.

I haven't been this excited since revelations 2 came out, and playing this remade version has made me fall in love with the series all over again that already had my heart. Even though RE7 wasn't my favorite the new engine is awesome and is must have in future games.

I don't care the parts where you're getting chased all around by tyrant...and it's changed considerably from what it was 20 years ago. Kinda a bummer, but I'm getting though it.

This game rocks!! I have been a die hard fan of the Resident Evil series from the gitgo!! This remake is a blast to play! It remains true to the original, while adding enough to keep you locked in. They really set the hook with this one, now bring on RE 3!!

Been playing Resident Evil games since the nineties, and although the series strayed into the shooter/ action genre, I've always stuck around. This is DEFINITELY a return to form for the series. A must buy for newcomers and fans.

Very well designed creatures and character. Zombies and kickers look awesome. Like that you have the ability to blow their legs off to your advantage. Tyrant was intimidating to run away from. Good storyline and puzzles.

I love this game!!! I grew up playing the original and love the way it's familiar but yet different. Playing on the Xbox One X you'll notice a slight graphical improvement. Overall you would not be disappointed with this game.

I loved everything that they did with this remake. It stays faithful to the original storyline, but everything else has been amped up. The zombies alone are so detailed and act in different ways, its always fun seeing them on the screen.

Huge fan of the Resident Evil series and this entry doesn’t disappoint. They took the best parts of all the games to make this masterpiece!

This is a game for Resident Evil or survival horror fans. If you have played RE2 in the past don’t be worried because this game is gonna be in familiar settings but everything is brand new as far as the way it plays out. Get it!

Have loved the Resident Evil series for years. I kept on hearing great things about the remake and I have to say it did not disappoint at all. Such a great addition to the RE franchise. Replayed both campaign settings

I always new the premise of RE2 was the best in the series but I couldn't stand prerendered PS1 graphics. This game is incredible. Best game in the series with the best graphics and most stress. You won't be disappointed.

This was a favorite when it first came out for Playstation 1. Capcom did a nice job remaking the game just like the remake of Resident Evil 1. The graphics are really great and the game brings back a lot of nostalgia.

Resident Evil 2 (REmake) is a fresh yet familiar game that is challenging, gorgeous, addictive and entertaining on every level! This is a top notch title that deserves a purchase to any resident evil fan old and new!
