This is THE Resident Evil game long-time fans have eagerly been waiting for. It's just an amazing return to form. I honestly haven't played a game that looks this good, and plays this good, is just too long to remember. The easter eggs and homage paid to old fans like myself is so very much appreciated. It's just as scary and just as fun as when I was a kid, if not more so! The storytelling is all-new, the puzzles are new, and the combat along with everything else has been revamped to just an excellent degree. It has to be the most beautiful looking game in my library too. I'm super pleased with this release and can't recommend it enough to new and old players alike. These are the types of games I wish we saw so much more nowadays.

This game is truely a game of the year. It has the great, graphics, sound and gameplay of reaident evil 2 but changes a few things. If you like to resident evil, zombies or a great gsme it is a must buy.

As a huge fan of this series ,I was blown away by the graphics ,sound and incredible visual for this game ,I was waiting for this game to drop when it was released that the game was being remastered ,game is so good ,

I am blown away by this game. The graphics look fantastic, the gameplay is compelling, and the atmosphere is unparalleled. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy before the RE3 sequel comes out.

I loved playing RE2 when it first came out back in the day (I'm old). This remake gives me the same feeling I had when playing the original. If you like survival games this is a must buy.

Excellent remake, this is the gold standard of how remakes should be. Incredibly tense atmosphere and heart thumping moments. Gameplay is updated and matches this generation. Highly recommended

This is how u do a remake. The game is absolutely incredible. The graphics are incredible, the sound is incredible. Everything is just spot on. Definitely a buy!!!

It remained true to the enjoyable and challenging aspects of the original while updating to the latest graphics and better sound. Definitely one of my favorites in the series.

Great game overall. Gameplay and graphics look amazing. Doesn't have the fixed room angle like the original but instead has third person or over the shoulder aiming.

I played the original RE2 when it came out in the 90's on the original Playstation console and it was one of my favorites of the era. It was a game that really engaged the player back then and this remake does the same. They've changed many things in this remake, but I am not going to go all purist and say that it's not as good because they changed some things. If you were a fan of the original then grab this one and play it. If you have never played the original then grab this one and play it. This RE2 remake is a great play regardless of the perspective in which you are coming to it. Much fun, very recommend!

Played the original number of years ago and the remake is accurate for both characters. Easy switch of weapons and health items with controls and awesome graphics!

Truly a masterpiece re-done. The original RE2 was good enough but with added bonus and updated graphics, it is very worthwhile. Now, I am a very critical analyst and I expected better graphics. I felt that the game used too much shadow and darkness to hide not flaws but rather better expectations. Just as a FYI, I have a XBX One X and yes a 82 inch HDTV with HDR, so I feel I can get a good appreciation for the graphics. Do not misinterpret me, I feel the game looks great but I expected better. The best part of the game is the added bonus and the thrills that will definitely get your heart racing. In short, yes I would recommend.

I love this game! Great remake. Great Game. Not that long of a game but you should be able to get it on sale. Definitely worth it.

This is an absolutely brilliant remake/reimaging of the original. It has done what very few games have been able to do. Make you relive those tense moment and add to that feeling of dread you experienced when you played the original. But much better. Fans of the RE franchise will rejoice at this phenomenal remake. The gameplay is its highlight, the over the shoulder RE4 type gameplay gives this game a massive bite. The fixed camera gameplay of the original, though great for the time, would not have played well in today's environment I think. All in all, a brilliant game. Will not dissappoint.

I spent the last few months getting caught up on all the Resident Evil games and it was great capping it off with the RE2 remake. Gameplay, story, graphics, all amazing.

This game does a great job for fans of the original and adds modern gameplay to an outdated tank control system. Great atmosphere and, kept true to the series.

If you are a fan of Resident Evil you owe it to yourself to pick up this game. Graphics have been overhauled and controls are much better.

Great remake game to re-play or first time playing RE2! And does its call back to OG gamers from PS or Gamecube days to current gen systems.

The remastered version of the game makes it perfect for any gamer. Controls are precise graphics are superb and music is top notch. A must buy !!!!
