Faithful to the original while adding modern controls and graphics. Basically two games in one and fantastic at that.

The story is exciting but challenging while the items are scarce. Its a very addictive game but wish they brought back some of the original music.

This game offers amazing graphics and controls make for a wonderful remake. Hopefully this is the new standard for games being remade.

I have enjoyed all the Resident Evil games and was not disappointed with this one. Great story, characters and graphics.

Resident Evil 2 Remake! Having played the original over 20 years ago on the PS1, I can say, visually the graphics are supreme quality in the remake! The layout and story of the game runs smooth and you never know what to expect to happen around the next corner you turn, or room you enter! Having recently completed both Leon's and Claire's playthrough on normal, I'm definitely going to give it a go on Hardcore mode. They also added some extra gameplay modes for extra challenges once you complete your first runs.

If you were a fan of the original then you will love this. It was remade from the ground up. Amazing graphics and updated controls.

Awesome remake, they did a great job with story and Mr. X is annoying but cool. Can't wait for 3 remake this year.

i never played the original re2 but i have to say this is how a remake should be. its a gorgeous game and it is extremely fun.

Really fun remake. Great to see it available on the Xbox, considering the original was a ps1 exclusive

Hats off to RE2, a fantastic tribute to the game i played 20+ years ago, redone with amazing 4k graphics, challenging new puzzles, and a solid storyline. I really dont play horror games , but this one is fantastic and although i was scared out of my seat at times, i played through the whole thing. The game delivers action throughout, and its even worth playing through with the second character because although it follows the same storyline, different things happen. Well worth the purchase.

Artistically and visually stunning. This is clearly my favorite resident evil game of all time, no other game even comes close. I just bought the x box one x and this game really seems like it pushes the hardware to its limits. I would also call this game my favorite re- imagining of an old school classic video game if all- time. It earrally haunting and because it takes place primarily in the dark enimies pop out of no- where and with out warning and it adds big time to the thrill factor.

If you played the original resident evil 2 they have changed enough to keep the game feeling new and the new movement and mechanics refresh the story. The graphics alone are very impressive and if you have a Xbox one x with hdr they really shine. They redid all the dialogue and cutscenes and the combination of the old school and new school is very compelling. Over all if you have any interest in resident evil or survival horror you can’t go wrong with this.

The game is a beautiful remake. Atmosphere and survival of the characters is what makes this game great.

Graphics and storyline are amazing. Game play is easy enough, but it is a tough game to get through.

The original RE2 was the first game I got to play for the PS back when it first came out. I spent hours and hours living on this game. This game will definitely help you relive your moments with those characters, but that is were it ends because as nostalgic as this game is it feels like something completely different and evolved. Loved it.
