I never played the original, but his game is really fun played in the dark. The background sounds and the zombies etc., make this game feel like a very immersive survival horror game. Is it? Anyways, play both characters missions, because it gives you two perspectives of the same story.

This game is all I hoped it would be. A great remake of a classic horror title. Resident evil 2 has been my favorite game for a very long time and I am glad they put in a great effort to make sure they remade this game but also kept the familiarity of the original. A definite must own.

The original RE2 was one of my favorite RE games that I played through multiple times. This remake brought back that excitement, tension and horror that I loved about the series 20 years ago. This game is a must have for anyone who loves RE games or horror survival in general.

Great game, loved it on PS1. Now that there's a remake on XboX1 it's the best thing since sliced bread. Has the original story line with better graphics. Some of the weapons aren't like the original, but that's the only major difference. I would suggest this game to everybody

I never played the original RE2 and I gotta say, this game rocks!! I like how they still kept some action elements but made it mostly about survival/horror (limited resources, ammo, etc.). Highly recommended if you enjoy games of this genre!

A fantastic choice of what game to remake from the ground up. Loved the original and the many different puzzles now getting this one and although somewhat same story, a more detail depiction on what happened in Raccoon City makes this game all the more worth purchase.

I have played all of the Resident Evil games and I got to say RE 2 remastered is my favorite one so far. I was beginning to think that the Resident Evil series was falling into a downfall until R7 and R2 remastered. I enjoy this game a lot and I have not gotten bored of it.

Bringing back a classic with amazing graphics. I remember why I hated this game though with the limited ammo. Very frustrating game at times.

I got this game because I played the original back in the day but this remake is amazing it feels just like the classic with an amazing upgrade which makes it more unique and cool way to play. My whole family like watching me play it

This game is great. I never played the original version but from what I've heard it does the original justice. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay and creepy atmosphere keep you on the edge because your never sure just how safe you really are.

Great remake of a solid ps2 era game. A must buy for series X owners as load times disappear when booted from the SSD. Remade tools and character arcs make this even a surprise for old timers like me. Must buy!!

I am an old gamer and played the original on the PS1. RE2 is the best game in the RE series. This pretties it up and brings it into the modern gaming era. I paid $20 on sale during Christmas. I would highly recommend this game for double that.

An incredible true remake to what is easily probably the best Resident Evil game of all time. Stay true to its survival horror roots yet evolved for modern times. Multiple play troughs and unlockables will keep you coming back. This is how you make a remake!!!

For me one of the best sagas of terror of all time. I was looking forward to Capcom again taking the reins of this delivery and understanding the origins of RE is the survive horror. Impressive, if you are a lover of terror, it is undoubtedly your game.

Old school gamer and beat the original on PS2. The advancements in graphics are huge! Probably one of the best stories in the RE series of games. Price was right too! Definitely a purchase and the extra modes are icing on the cake.

It's incredible. They fixed the controls so I thought no way it'll be scary, but it turns out, they still kept it scary even though you can actually make your character move around as you see fit instead of chaotically bumping into everything when scared.

The did the original so much justice. Graphics were amazing. But it was really short and took like 7ish hours for me to beat it? I need more! Lol

A solid remake of a game that was cemented in my memory as a kid. This remake recaptures the feeling of the original Playstation sequel to the point where I feel like a spooked out child again. Way to go Capcom.

You feel immersed in the game. Just like you are in an episode of TWD. Definitely I love the story mode and the way it unfolds and how you are in control of your decisions. Very realistic and the graphics look like a movie. Simply spectacular!

If you loved Resident Evil 2 back in the day then this remake is a no-brainer. My only complaint is the amount of ammo needed to take down enemies, but that just makes you have to think about other ways to get by. Now I am ready for a part 3 remake.
