I was ecstatic ashen Capcom announced RE3 was being remade. This game was released hot off the heels of the amazing RE2 Remake. As a result of that, expectations were very much high. The graphics, voice overs and gameplay are superb. The only flaw is that, too much content was cut out that was in the original RE3 Nemesis. Hence making this game much too short making. If Capcom kept most of the original content in this remake, this game would have easily been a solid 10. Wait for a deep sale of you can.

Having played and beaten the original PS version of Resident Evil 3 I was curious to see how this remake stacked up to the original: Pros: * Similar to RE2 remake this game looks fantastic and really brings the horror of the city to life. * The changes to the game play from the original game make the game feel like a modern game. Cons: * Short * Not exactly a con but this game is not super long so it could be beaten in a evening on the weekend.

A great RE remake a must have for all fans. The story and gameplay is awesome.

While REmake 3 is a great game by most standards, being released after REmake 2 greatly diminishes its impact and highlights its shortcomings. Compared to RE2, RE3 is shorter (limited to one campaign instead of RE2's two), and fumbles the horror-to-action balancing act RE2 masterfully achieved. RE3 is still a worthy game, but fans expecting it to be equal or superior to RE3 might be disappointed.

-Like the game, this review is going to be short. The game is amazing! Though short, it was a great reimagining of the original Resident Evil 3 on the ps1. Uses the same engine as Resident Evil 2 Remake so that means it's going to be great! Granted, Nemesis wasn't as terrifying as Mr. X from RE2 Remake, he is still scary. I didn't regret this purchase so for that, I'm thankful.

I really loved playing this game. I played the original game when it came out so long ago so I didn't really remember much about. It's times like this that I'm happy I have a bad memory. The game isn't necessarily hard but the fun factor and gameplay make up for that. Would have loved to get the collectors edition but I along with thousands were disappointed to here that they sold out incredibly fast.

This game is like an updated version of Resident evil 2 remake and i personally like this better the game. On a casual first play through will take roughly 5 to 6 hours but after knowing what to do you will cut the time in half so its suggested to play the game on a harder difficulty. Not a big fan of the online mode so i didnt bother with it. But if you haven't played 2 you can still start with this and be fine there really isnt much call backs to the other games.

Best game i ever played very exciting game and graphics are amazing

The game builds upon most of the mechanics and graphics that was introduced with RE2 Remake while also adding in some new elements for the more action packed sequel re3. New abilities like dodging for Jill and a shoving/punching counterpart for Carlos allows them both to weave and maneuver through waves of zombies much easier (not always as responsive as I'd like though) the re2, but takes away the horror element by having such a trump card right off the bat. Nemesis on paper is a much more frightening advisary compared to Mr.X since he can sprint along with the use of weaponry and tentacles, but a after 30 minutes the tension drops when *SPOILERS* Nemesis begins to change form.. honestly the more he evolves the less i feel unsafe *NO MORE SPOILERS*. Though the biggest issue for me is the length of the campaign... With a lot of back tracking, I was able to complete this in 7 hours... Standard difficulty... This was the biggest con imo since other than harder difficulties and collectables that's it. I'm keeping this review separate from resistance since i haven't had enough experience with it yet. Though to summarize this review, this would be a stellar game on sale for 30 bucks. 60 is too much for this and even with it's shortcomings, Re3 is still a necessary purchase (eventually when it's on sale) for those who best the previous installment.

Not as good as RE2MAKE but its really fun and I'm glad Capcom made it, the graphics are gorgeous, the controls are smooth, and the gameplay is solid. I just wish it was longer and didnt have some areas from the original cut out, I havent tried the online multiplayer yet but I've heard it's fun. Hopefully they release some DLC of some sort since the game is really short. But as a life long RE fan my overall experience was positive and I can recommend this game.
