Wish it was longer but the original was short as well. Great update. Super fun.

I bought it when I was released, digital, I wasn’t able to get it, and was the first time using digital service. It was easy to download and ready to play

Cut a lot out from the original and changed quite a bit. Was disappointed by the exclusion of some enemies from the original and a couple of the enemy redesigns aren't for the better in my opinion. Obviously the gameplay and visuals are improved in the new version. Nemesis is also kind of a disappointment. Needed to be in the game more.

I really enjoyed the campaign, it's fun and more action oriented compared to RE2 but it was over to quickly. On my 2nd play through I beat it in an hour and a half. While the game was fun I would wait for a price drop. I felt they left a lot of features and locations out from the original ps1 version. This game would have been better suited as a DLC. But if you are an RE fan the game won't disappoint.

Shorter than RE2 remake that was to be expected. What was not is all the missing content from the original. Clock Tower and Park both gone along with character choices. Very linear and leaves you wanting more Racoon City. Still plays well and feels like a RE game with it's quality atmosphere and a constant petal to the metal style.

Was a huge fan of the original back in the day. This remake is just fantastic. The game has been totally reworked, and it's such a great gaming experience. If you've played the RE2 remake, this will be similar, and to that point, pick that up too if you want play this game. Only negative is probably just the time to complete the main campaign is pretty short.

Wow this is one of the best remakes yet. It sorta seems easy though

First off if you expect the same RE3 from the Playstation days it's not, it follows some of the same story line but is a different well done way of telling it. I was skeptical based on some other reviews of this game but I really enjoyed it from start to finish. The graphics are great, well told story, and still has the Resident Evil fell to it.

Great game for a great price. Try and catch them all

Another excellent game from Capcom and an terrific remake. Graphics are stunning and gameplay is a lot of fun. Less horror and more action, not much of a story other than Jill Valentine trying to get out of Raccoon City and outwit the Nemesis, and the game is on the short side. However, I highly recommend Resident Evil 3 for fans of the series and it is a really enjoyable time.

Definitely an awesome game, very short as I completed it in 6 hours on standard difficulty but the included Resident Evil Resistance multiplayer mode has hundreds of hours of fun and I would recommend it simply because of the added value with that. Graphics are great and it's the usual Resident Evil fun. Xbox does have some framerate issues that will hopefully be patched.

I remember being in college and having fun being scared by the original. So I was really excited for this, especially after the remake of 2. I was a little worried it would be too short, but it felt like just the right amount of play time, honestly. Beautiful upgrade that was a blast and still super creepy!

Great game, awesome graphics, action packed fun to play

Great Graphics. Fun, but need to play through it. I havent had the time to put all my time into this game, but I want to. It is beautiful looking and runs great in 4k. This game isn't supposed to be as good as RE2 remake, but going in knowing that, was like playing the Original RE3 after the Original RE2 back in the day. If you are a RE fan, must play.

Resident Evil remakes have been remarkable. Resident Evil 2 was a great remake. The recent version of Resident Evil 3 was also great but it was definitely short. I remember the original was short as well so I can understand why many other gamers feel that this was not worth full retail when it first came out. Still a great survival horror remake.

Though some people have expressed doubts and/or disappointments towards this game, I found myself enjoying this regardless of its’ cut content and newly aspects. I, very much enjoyed RE6; regardless of its’ story. Not everyone has the same opinions and that is okay, but for me, I found this game to be very enjoyable.
