Great gameplay, story, and action keeps you on your feet!

I just played the 'remastered' version about a year ago so the original is still pretty fresh in my mind. The remake really threads the needle - hitting the perfect balance between the familiar and the new. Not only has it been rebuilt from the ground up, but the stages and enemies have all been rejiggered and mostly improved - all while staying true to the original story. As close to a perfect 'remake' as you're ever going to find - right up there with RE2.

You cant go wrong with RE4, i played this back in the ps2 era, and it remains one of my favorite resident evils, Leon is a funny light hearted main character, and though the remake has notable changes (character designs, story and some events), its still the same ol (but upgraded) game

I LOVE THIS REMAKE. I was already a big RE4 Fan. I wish this was the original because they knew all of the main areas to improve. They improved the storyline. Explained some missing details. Removed some content that wasnt necessary. And the darkness that came with RE2, RE3, and RE7 and its quality (with the RE Engine) will make this game just the best version of itself. This is how a remake is done! I wish they did a similar project with RE3

Excellent remake of a stone cold classic! All the magic is there to make for yet another fun, and exciting ride that’ll keep you coming back for more. I’m still in active debate inside my own head as to which is better, the OG RE4 or this one, just can’t decide as of yet. 100% recommend this remake for lovers of the original and newcomers alike. Do yourself a favor and check it out asap!

Resident Evil 4 on PS4 delivers the perfect blend of action and suspense that made the original a legend. The remastered graphics and smooth controls bring the classic survival horror experience to life. A must-have for fans of the series and newcomers alike!

If you're a RE fan, or have played the original '05 RE4 then you owe it to yourself to play this. It's a 10/10 for real.

A great remaster for one of the best video games of all time. Keeps the spirit of the original, while still adding a bunch of new challenges.

Excellent game and this is the high standard all game studios should follow when remastering/remaking any game. Great nods to the original while also improving the experience 10 fold. Would recommend this game to anyone who even has the slightest interest in this series/genre.

One of the few games I would ever say are perfect. Great visuals, upgraded controls of weapons and camera, and lets call it a manageable story. It's hands down the best Resident Evil game ever made.

I have played the original RE4 three times and greatly enjoyed it. This remake builds on the original and adds more to the game in terms of graphics, horror atmosphere, enemies, and story. I would definitely recommend this game!

The Resident Evil 4 remake improves on the original in every way. The gameplay is vastly inproved, the graphics are amazing and the story and atmosphere are darker than the original. I would highly recommend this game.

Ordered this online since it was out of stock at the Visalia location. Picked it up and it was in flawless condition. The pick up procedure was smooth and quick. The game itself is incredible.

Incredible remake of an iconic title of the Resident Evil Series.RE4 introduced many RE gamers to the new gameplay style that was new and totally different then the previous RE games and one that pretty much turned the heads of RE gamers. The graphics/world/design are done great without the somewhat tanky controls that the original RE4 still suffered from with the PS4/Xbox One releases. A definite improvement and welcomed addition to the game library.

Wanted a physical copy that worked on the ps4/ps5. If you have a ps5 you can download the ps5 version for free as long as you have the disc. Great game. Loved the OG. Really liked the differences they made with this one. Ramped up the difficulty quite a bit. Which I liked.

Wish they kept some of that sarcasm Leon had in the og, but didn't hinder the tone the remake was going for. Can't wait for a re5 remake whenever they decide to do it.
