    I'm not a huge horror genre game person enjoyed a few RE's back in the day but this new approach & price point appealed to me & I purchased it. So as not to spoil the game or experience I will just say that it's got the Resident Evil feel but modernized but not enough you can't recognize the game mechanics or feel or tension. That's a lot to pull off but they manage to keep me engaged & not overwhelmed excellent direction for this franchise

    Capcom did good for returning to the survival horror. Yet the first person view is too different from their work and would have been better to be a spin off game.

    Haven’t played RE since nemesis but Game play definitely different with this one.Jump scares is still there But I didn’t get the resident evil feel I use to get back in day. Not my cup of tea.
