One of the scariest games I have ever played on VR

This was a breath of fresh air. Since the first Resident Evil game there is no other series that is more closely connected to the Horror Game Genre. This game does not disappoint. You get that same jumpy feeling as you did with the early games. Those cut scenes are great. The voice acting is a lot better than most games we have now. The graphics are precise and picks up everything. There are a few portions of the game that will have you second guessing what you just saw. This only gets better when you switch to the VR headset. Games like Outlast 1 & 2 have done a good job of filling in while RE have been on the shelf but with RE back in the fold the horror Genre is back and thriving.

I really don’t have any gripes with Resident Evil 7. The story hooked me, it’s beautiful to look at, and the gameplay is new and refreshing with sprinkles of homage to franchise signatures… whats not to like?

Great game. They have gone back to what made the games iconic by adding in puzzles, scare factor, iconic feel. The VR aspect adds a whole new level to the game and scare factor skyrockets. Well worth the price!

I bought this game mainly for the VR and it did not disappoint. The game is scary in VR. Graphics where great and will be playing the season pass soon. I highly recommend this game to any one who has the PS VR.

RE7 is a great return to form for the Resident Evil series. The graphics look great, the gameplay is solid, and it is genuinely scary at moments. Playing it in VR mode can be pretty intense, but recommended!

This game is awesome, it changes up the style of gameplay kinda how RE4 changed up the gameplay from previous titles... this game is a first person true horror experience.. and Horror is what RE is all about.

This brings Resident Evil back to its horror roots. The recent ones to come out have gone more towards the shooters while this one is more horror and puzzle solving. Also conserve that ammo! You will need it.

This new resident evil brings it back to the horror genre the game originally started with . It is a great game true to the original style of resident evil its a must have . Great gameplay story and graphics.

My first VR game and it’s made more interesting because the surprises are better the just in the TV. Having fun playing this!

Resident Evil has reinvented itself. The first person perspective works great. The franchise is once again scary thanks to revamped controls, atmosphere, story and stunning graphics. 10/10

It has been awhile since I've played a game that created such a good atmosphere. It will scare the *&@$ out of you and have you asking for more. No cheap tricks or gimmicks just good, solid, survival horror.

Re7 is an amazing return to the resident evil roots. The graphics are incredible and the atmosphere is extremely creepy. The locations and layouts are similar to re1 and the gameplay is seemless. Must buy.

Resident evil is back in first person for the first time and boy it's amazing, especially if you have a PlayStation VR

It's hard for me to find games I enjoy, but this one is amazing. It's like your part of a horror movie, I had to change to easy mode because it got so intense. I can't wait until I get VR and play this.

Great game where you can submit yourself. FPS makes the game more scary than it would be if otherwise. Some challenging puzzles. Mist buy game if you like being scared. Not for the feint of heart.

This game is good but can be very difficult at times. There were a few times I jumped but I wouldn't say it's as horrifyingly scary as they want you to think it is. **note that I did not play in VR mode
