Resident evil 7 is simply terrifying. This game brings back memories of what made resident evil great. VR is definitely the way to go with this game. The immersion itself is a system seller.

This game is terrifying especially if you decide to play it in VR don't have a weak stomach. Easily the best entry in the series since RE4 which is one of my all-time favorite RE games.

I gave a 5 out of 5 rating because I was able to get great Black Friday prices online and I was able to pick up my items in the store without waiting for hours on end. The online buying exprience and the in store retrieving experience was hassle/headache/pressure free and had NO stress.

It's been awhile that I gravitated to any Resident Evil game. RE 7 definitely revamps the franchise and makes a game more relevant to something you'd play 2017 rather than in the past. Is it scary? Well play this at night, lights off with a gaming headset and guaranteed you'll get plenty of jump scares. Great game!

I'm enjoying the nerve wracking feeling I get when I walk up to a corner not knowing what lies on the other side. RE7 has finally gotten that feeling back. The later sequels may have strays from the horror, but it was kind of expected IMHO. At some point, some military organization would have to get involved. Back to the main game though. Everything about old-school RE is back with another face lift. Where RE4 has over the shoulder perspective, we get first person view. I've tried it on PSVR, but I still get motion sickness after trying every setting I can. Could be worse, my friend b*****s out from being too scared. That is what I call the seal of approval.

It may not be my favorite in the series, but it's still a great game!! Definitely a good game for the Fall!

Got this game for the PS4 with the hope it would be a great VR experience. It was and more. VR was immersive and gameplay and storyline were perfect. Great return to a good horror game,

Gone is the softening down for arcade gamers and COD lovers - back is the survival horror and true tense gameplay and storytelling that Resident Evil is known for. This WILL scare you.

I am fairly new to PS4 VR, but have been playing Resident Evil games for many years. I have only played a demo of this game thus far, but the demo was enough to sell me on buying this game and that it will be quite creepy and awesome. Looking forward to the full gameplay experience.

This game is downright TERRIFYING at times. Not just the moments where things jump out at you, but also the times that you're waiting for things to jump out at you. This is a survival horror game...surprise, surprise. It seems half of the games for PSVR are survival horror games. You run around and solve puzzles, try not to get killed by the bad guys, or, at times, try to kill the bad guys. Fan of old school Resident Evil? You're going to LOVE this game. New to the Resident Evil series? You're going to LOVE this game. Dislike horror games? You're definitely going to HATE this game.

Surreal environments, great audio and visual effects, story and characters are intriguing. One of my favorite games for the time, hands down, and VR just makes the experience 10 times better. No VR sickness with default settings, blurry at times, runs absolutely fantastic.

Resident Evil has been a lot of things over the years but it hasn't touched back to it's roots in a long time. This game changes that and brings back the horror, especially in VR.

This game is a new spin on the Resident Evil Francise but a throwback to the first as it takes place in a house that you must search through. Play in VR for the ultimate experience.

I give it 4.5. Great game. It's a lot of fun and scary. Reminds me of the originals but in first person.

Resident Evil 7 is one of my favorite games on the PS4. The gameplay is great, and the story is captivating. It is one of the best horrors game of the generation.

I did not expect Resident Evil to be scary again, but WOW. This game had me on edge. Spooky, scary fun.

This is a great redemption after Resident Evil 6. The story is a little hit and miss but the overall gameplay is what steals the show. This has a real sense of horror and suspense that really seems to have been lacking in recent Resident Evils. If you enjoyed Alien: Isolation considering picking this up.

Have played all Resident Evil games. This one has the feel of the first 4. Glad they went back to their roots! Excellent graphics, story and very creepy. Well worth purchasing!
