With surround sound head phones it is scary as heck. Wouldn't want to play it on VR. Good game though, very immersive.

RE games have tended to get boring over the years and part 7 brings it back to when it was scary and intense. The game is very unpredictable with the scares and the enemies and atmosphere really make you feel like you're fighting for your life. Some silly story stuff and lack of enemy variety hurt this a bit but it is a must play.

I like this game even though it’s not your typical Resident Evil game. A little difficult but worth the ride.

The game provides an interesting story, jump scares, and some gore. But really fun to play multiple times.

By far the best resident evil game since RE4. The game returns to its chilling survival horror roots where you are scared to go around every corner and you have scavenge for ammo. Excellent game.

Great story and gameplay. Perfect balance of action/exploration to keep the game engaging without dragging or feeling "stuck". Highly recommended to any Resident Evil fans.

I really enjoyed the latest game in the Resident Evil series. It is a nice throw back to the first game (back when it was a horror game and not an action game with horror trappings).

The first few games in the series were great with not excellent controls and the last few were not great but with better controls. RE7 is great! I love the story, the scares and the fun.

This resident evil is definitely a step up from the last one, it's scary and is packed with the brim of everything u want this genre to be. A definite must buy for your horror library.

Don't want to leave any spoilers but if you are a fan of the series, you wont be disappointed.

I am a long time Resident Evil fan but even if you have never played one of these games its definitely worth the pickup. Story is amazing and gameplay is just as great!

Enjoying so far. Wife is interested in playing and watching me play this game which is a miracle! Havent played Resident Evil since PS1, puzzles and jump scares still there!

It’s a great game from Capcon. If you’ve played the other resident evil games, you should play this one for more gore.

RE7 is a true love letter to its fans. It is a first person, next generation rendition of the classic Resident Evil games we grew up with. Items and keys make a return and is an important component of progressing in the game. It has more puzzle heavy gameplay and action scenes are few and far between. There are more scares in RE7 and it is great to see this franchise return to what made it popular in the first place. You will fear going into rooms and you will fear being caught. I can't say enough good things about this game. The graphics are great, pacing is great, scares are great. Overall a worthy purchase.
