If you’re wondering if you should buy it now then the answer is YES!! Just finished the game and its a fantastic sequel to Resident Evil 7. The story, characters, environment, gameplay mechanics, soundtrack, etc were phenomenal. Game has replay value as well after finishing it you can play again with all your previous items from your first play through so i will definitely be playing all weekend. The deluxe edition comes with a couple digital in-game goodies and for the price gap i think its worth it. Also came with a Steelbook so thats great. Definitely recommend you play “Resident Evil 7 Biohazard” first to truly understand the story. I love the direction capcom is going with this franchise and now i cant wait for Resident Evil 9!!

PHENOMENAL Great gameplay with a good storyline to back it up

Great game. Very cool setting and theme. It is a direct sequel from the previous Resident Evil game but feels different. Lots of fun puzzles and exploration. Great characters amd story.

Want the best experience start playing it at night with earphones best sound possible . Graphics are amazing gameplay very enjoyable...first resident I was hooked on all the way. What ever you do don’t sell the meet to duke give it to him to upgrade your stats

I'm enjoying this game so much. It's a lot funnier than I expected it to be, but the gameplay is enjoyable. Also, has a photo mode that's fun to mess around with.

Another great resident evil game. It starts off a tad slow with the creepiness but ramps up pretty fast. Plays well and is a great game.

It's a great game brought me back to Resident Evil one the graphics are awesome the characters are pretty scary just too repetitive on the characters But love the movement and how realistic it looks

Game itself is alright. Wary of buying from Best Buy again though as my copy arrived with a small hole in the cover that had to have happened before shipping. It’s not huge, but sucks it’s there at all.

Great game. It's a weird mixture of RE4 and RE7, combining some of the action elements from 4 and the in your face horror focus of 7. It mostly succeeds at doing such but it has some missteps. The gun variety is lacking (in that there's no reason to use some weapons due to how weak they are compared to later weapons), the inventory system feels pointless and removes some challenge, its linearity hurts it after several playthroughs, and the side mode, Mercenaries, is not done very well. Its most certainly worth the purchase though, great spook fest with a surprisingly solid story, very replayable (even after the cracks are shown, it can still remain as replayable as any other RE game, it depends on you) and has an extra game mode you may or may not like. It's a solid 4/5 and while these missteps can sometimes bother me as a big RE fan I can't deny that as a package it's still incredible and worthwhile and has me even more excited for the future of RE

Great Resident Evil game. One of the best I’ve ever played and I’ve basically played them all. I’m close to beating the game and I’m going to hop right back on and give it another go on a harder difficulty when I beat it. It’s that much fun. The action is intense the horror is great and the puzzles are fun to solve. I purchased the deluxe edition which has a few in game extras that are nice to have in the beginning of the game. Defiantly worth getting this game

Fantastic game! Was not a fan of first person in RE7, but it fits very well for Village. The graphics are beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing! Very good mix of puzzles and action. Gives you that survival feel back with limited resources (at least for the first playthrough for me anyway). Very fun and good mix of enemies/bosses/characters. Replay value is definitely there. Overall I'm very happy with the direction of this game.
