Unlike most preorder DLCs, this one really is helpful. I unfortunately didn't receive it via email on day one, but as a RE fan I had to jump in to the next chapter of franchise. And after playing a good chunk of the game without it and then starting a new game with the preorder DLC. I can honestly say that the the survival resource pack came in handy with the first section of the game. Especially if you don't bother with casual mode.

DLC Preorder content for Resident Evil 8 Village, Includes some cosmetic items for the starting Handgun as well as a healthy supply of ammo for the handgun/shotgun, a lockpick, and a healing item to help ease newcomers into the game. Can be accessed once you reach The Duke in the story before you enter Castle Demitriscu

For anyone that's not used to these kinds of games, this probably helped out a bunch. But I was already three quarters of the way through the game before I felt like I needed the free ammo and health included in this bonus. But for first time players, I can see this being a big help. Still happy to have it though.

I was happy to receive this as code via e-mail. I was worried that it was going to be a code printed on the purchase receipt. The reason why is because that Best Buy has gotten into the habit of not offering a printed receipt for pre-orders. Opting instead for a red & white sticker with a scannable QR code.

Worth the pre-order! The lil raccoon hanging on the end of my shotgun helps remind suckers who's boss and is just a nice lil homage to times past. The little extra items I was hesitant to use but actually ended up using them all :D oh well, it was nice for a first-time playthrough.

A solid sequel to RE 7 gameplay and story while doing unique takes on the franchise to make it new and refreshing and not too repatriation like RE 6 or other titles.

It’s free. Looks kind of dumb on your shotgun but at the same time I’m a sucker for the throw back so I left it equipped anyways

Cool dlc for the game. Gives you some extra ammo and health to start out with once you meet the vendor for the first time.

Just some in game stuff, not make or break by any means but still fun for those who collect charms and whatnot in game.

My gameplay experience was pretty cool with this. Nothing much in it, just ammo and a charm. Nothing special, but it sure helps in your first play through.

Comes In handy when starting a new game. Helps out on backtracking with the lock pick. kinda like a free cheat code and you don’t even know it

Nice bonuses. Especially when you get to the Duke the first time in the game and you want to be able to get as many items as you possibly can

The installation of this bonus dlc worked without a hitch. The code arrived via e-mail the same day as the game's release dare.

This pack is a great boost for beginners as it will brovide a little help. There are a few issues I have being that first it isn't a too significant boost so it is really only there for the early first game and the charm can't be transfered once attached but I beloeve it can knly be placed on one weapon anyway.

Dlc is free so can’t complain about it. Wouldn’t want anything less
