Great game. Won’t be disappointed.love playing this game.

Resident Evil Village (8) a great game so far! I’m about 3 1/2 hours into this game since I got it on release day (5/7/21 @ around 10 AM *Thanks UPS and BestBuy for the free release day shipping!*) Only thing I’m waiting for is my SteelBook that came with the preorder, but no worries as I can wait! The preorder DLC bonus was a great touch as well and downloaded in a breeze. For the game - it took about an hour for the whole game to download to the PS5 system. But after download the graphics and game quality so far are super! The story line, perfectly syncs with the last game (BioHazard/7) and you won’t be lost at all (especially if you watch the Re-Cap at the beginning of the game) if you’re debating about this game, go for it! You’ll love the thrilling experience it gives. Can’t wait to see what else happens in this game (but no spoilers as this is an early review to an awesome game!) The PS5 version has the full use of the DualSense Controller, so you get the adaptive triggers in the back, as well as vibrations when switching weapons, and of course the LightBar around the touch pad changes in each mode! Overall if you like Resident Evil Series, go for it like I did. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent game with lots of replay value. If you thought re7 was too scary, they tone it down a bit in this one. It's a bit more action but still gets spooky. It has a section that maybe the scariest thing I've ever seen. Great game overall. Mercenaries sub game is a lot of fun too. Dlc on the way as well.

I'm not a Resident Evil player, but my wife is. She loved playing the game and actually spent several hours up playing after I went to sleep. It's that addicting! Graphics were good, the story has some interesting twists in it. A little on the shorter side, but spoiler alert, there's definitely room for a sequel.

this game is incredible. lots of scares, especially one section that was probably the scariest portion in any video game. very intense. more action oriented than 7 in a way that's scarier (to me) than any other resident evil i've played so far. don't get me started on the tall lady. really enjoying this game.

One of the best RE games, the graphics are awesome, the story is very intriguing, the gameplay is more action oriented like RE4 Remake. If you get the DLC expansion you can play the game is 3rd person, it will allow you to experience the game in a totally new perspective. A must get

Perfect Resident Evil game! I do not like Fps too much but the environment, sound, and monsters all around made it a must-experience! Absolutely has replay value. New characters on par with anyone’s favorites! And the story pushes Resident Evil forward in satisfying ways.

Best resident evil game I’ve ever played , loved the graphics and the story . Wish it was a little longer of game play though . I’d say maybe 8 -9 hours of game play which was pretty short , some of the bosses were easy to beat

After RE6 and RE7 I had no big expectations of this game, I was so wrong about it, this game turned out amazing, specially after the DLC, the mercenaries mode is a great addition to it.

wow, they did an excellent job with this installment of RE. It's disturbing, beautiful graphics, some of the writing is cheesy one liners but other than that, it's a very fun and challenging game. Lots of replay value

Enjoyed this game more than RE7. Still prefer 3rd person Resident Evil, but this is a solid game.
