These devices work great at first, but frequently disconnect from wifi for hours at a time before reconnecting. Without wifi connection these devices can't reliably serve their purpose.

We bought this unit for the freeze alarm. We got one email alert when we tested it but hasn’t worked since. I have called the company 3 times and no one has been able to figure out why it isn’t working. We’re hoping a fourth call will do the trick. We’re not holding our breath. ☹️

They work ok. They complain too much about high heat and humidity in places where that's expected, without any way to set a different threshold for different devices. And they constantly go offline. I even got a notification from them that all my devices have a flaw and went offline until I reset them. Lord help you if the leak detector gets wet when it's detecting leaks. Then it stops working altogether and the warranty on these things is only a year - don't expect them to last longer than that.

I read reviews on other websites since there were none on BestBuy. I bought it to replace the one I had that didn't sync to my phone. Set up and syncing to the app was very easy, but the detector did not detect water. I tested it and waited for a beep an alert on my phone and nothing happened. I will be returning it and sticking with my Watchdog water detector.
