It’s ok
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe if you had great upper arm strength you would like it. Doesn’t get the roots dry therefore it puffs up after your finished blow drying. I hate it.

A Must-Buy for Curly Hair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Drying and stretching my hair (Should Length Curly - Type 3) has always been a chore and I have tried so many products over the years to make this process easier and finally with the RevAir I have found the solution! Right out of the box you can tell it`s a quality product that is built to last though I will say it is quite cumbersome in that the base unit is quite large. However, after getting enough space set aside for the base unit I jumped right into the instructions. At first I was concerned that it would be a complex process and was worried I`d end up pulling and ruining my hair, but the instructions are extremely straightforward and I was quickly up and running. The process does take some trial and error to find that perfect setting for you as there are 3 heat settings and 7 tension settings, but after playing with it and going through a couple sections of my hair I was able to pinpoint the right setup for me to which I will note the tension aspect is definitely what I would advise tweaking first as that made the biggest difference for me. So after getting the right settings I was able to finish drying and stretching my hair in 15 minutes! I mean this used to be an absolutely grueling process, but in only 15 minutes I was done and my roots were even dry on top of it too! I really can`t stress how fast and easy this entire process was, especially after the 2nd time around once I had the right settings and motion down. Also I will say that my biggest fear of the RevAir pulling my hair and damaging it was laughable after using the product as I can assure you that is nothing to worry about as you can definitely notice the use of less heat on your hair and the usability has definitely been a key focus of RevAir in making the product. Overall, I really can`t recommend this product enough. The ease of use and final results speak for themselves. I do have type 3 hair, but even if you had type 4 hair (coily/kinky) I can assure you that you would receive similar results as this is one of those products that is exactly as advertised. The size of the base unit is the only slight negative of this product, but as long as you have somewhere to store it then this hair dryer by RevAir is an absolute must-buy product!

FAILED MISERABLY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only blew air, but failed to do anything else. Which made it an extremely expensive hair dryer. Got a replacement today, so we're hoping this product will actually work with the second one!

Very Disappointing - Don't waste your money.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No!! This is not worth the price. I have long, thick, wavy hair, and there was not enough tension to straighten my hair. This is so disappointing. I would still have to flat iron, which defeats the purpose.

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately this did not work out for my daughter’s hair. She’s a 3b/c and it was not helpful for straightening purposes. It was just like a hair dryer. Was not worth the money.

Good product but big and heavy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the box is the heat producing wand, reverse-air base unit, hose, removable basket, wand rest, owner manuals with quick guide and a quick informational card with a QR code, two RevAir hair ties and nylon covers for hose and the base unit. First impression, where am I going to put this thing. Taking the hair dryer out of the box and placing on the counter where I normally do my hair (the bathroom sink) but no room for no other tools. I was however able to move things around to place my combs and brushes. I immediately skimmed over the manual to make sure I do everything properly and washed my hair and started the machine. I kept the quick guide handy (which this is very helpful), and started on my past the shoulder 3B THICK hair. I sectioned my hair like the example in the quick guide and I started at tension 2 with high heat and then I gradually went up to tension 6 but it got to hot. So I lowered the tension and the heat setting to no heat and then low and worked my way back up for the rest of my hair. I figured out that I would start with tension 5-6 and end with around 2 with low heat and then start with another section. For the first time it wasn’t so bad. My dry time was way longer than I am accustom to so I was hesitant to use the product again but I read the instructions more closely and watched how my daughter used it and after by my 3rd and 4th wash I had a better routine and I was dry within 30-40 minutes. My hair was straight but I typically like my hair smoother than the lightweight blow out look but all I would have to do is take a few extra minutes and slide the flat iron through my hair with the heat protectant and my hair was smoother and straight. My daughter has shoulder length, thick 4A hair and she is in love with this product but it definitely wasn’t love at first sight. She does not normally press/straighten her hair because it takes her so long to dry and press/straighten out her curls. After the first wash, she followed the quick guide and sectioned her hair and adjusted the settings. She wasn’t fond of how heavy the wand was and the repetition needed for each section of hair to get it dry and straighten to the way she wanted it. Her roots still had a little bit of curl/wave but with more washes and trial and error she did quickly learned how to adjust and she uses the dryer often and follows up with the flat iron for her bangs and curls on her ends as needed. Overall, I do like this product but because of what it does for me, I would not purchase again. However, it works great for my daughter and I would definitely purchase again for her. I do wish the dryer came with a case of some sort to protect base unit from dust and to also neatly store the whole product when it is not in use. Would I recommend to friends and family? I probably would recommend to friends and family that are looking for this type of product to specifically straighten curly hair.

Quick and easy to use hair dryer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife absolutely loves the RevAir Reverse-Air Hair Dryer, she loves the amount of volume that she can achieve when using this and has absolutely fallen in love with this dryer. Others have mentioned the bulkiness and clumsiness of using this device and I would have to agree with them as well, the dryer base is fairly large, falls over easily, and the hose doesn't seem long enough to easily use this without pulling the base of the unit around sometimes. The plastic hanger that comes with the unit to hang the hose and dryer to the base unit seems absolutely useless as well just due to the design and it usually just pulls the unit over in my experience. I wouldn't let any of those issues deter you from using this though, like I said my wife absolutely loves this thing and uses it every time after coming out of the showers, after some experience she has gotten her drying time down to less than 10 minutes for her hair and then we just shove the unit under the sink out of the way. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a hair dryer, RevAir has made a really great product and anyone who gets this will not regret it.

Straight hair & no damage! Will save a marriage!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife has long naturally curly hair and can spend HOURS with a flat iron if we have a special event or a date night. She was both shocked and elated when I handed her the box. She had been watching social media videos on these “reverse dryers” for a few months now. Setup took only a few minutes. While she showered, I read the instructions and got it set up. Because she has really thick hair, we did just a small section at a time. It literally took about a minute to ninety seconds a section. What used to take 2 hours was done and ready to go in 20 minutes. Results were fantastic. Hair had volume and felt healthy. There was none of the usual telltale signs of heat straightening being done. The dryer is quite loud, so I wouldn’t recommend using it if people are sleeping nearby. It’s similar to a small shop vacuum with sound. The results are definitely worth it though. My wife said heat and suction never hurt. She never felt it would burn her. The process was like going to an expensive salon. For me, it was definitely worth it, saving myself hours of waiting for her to get ready to go out. The results looked spectacular.

This is a great investment. Go get yourself one…
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best hair dryer that I have ever owned. One of the best features of this hair dryer is the drying time. The drying time is so quick that it minimizes the time I have to use other tools such as curling irons or flat irons. One thing I love about this dryer is the fact that I don’t have to hold my hands over my head which can be a fatigued easily. This dryer takes parts of the hair and it dries it fast and not only does it dry quick it stretches out my coils in my natural hair and gives it length. It helps to deranged it so I am not pulling my hair to deranged it. This dryer is lightweight and very easy to assemble. You only have to connect 2 pieces together and it’s ready to go . It’s not too big just a tad bit awkward to store. You can always put it back in the box for easy storage. This dryer works on all hair types but I am Especially impressed because my hair is course and curly. I highly recommend this dryer for an easy to use tool. You won’t go wrong with this dryer..

NIce change for better hair health
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rev Air reverse hair dryer brings an exciting concept to hair drying. It is a big setup, so you have to have a nice amount of room because the hose is pretty long, but it does straighten your hair. My wife was impressed with the packaging. The assembly was straightforward and quick, My wife's hair is very curly, and it did straighten it. One thing that she noticed was that it took a tad bit longer to dry the hair. It does the job. Your hair is straight as if you pressed it with a comb. And that was minimal shedding or damage to her hair which she liked. It's been proven that heat damages hair, so this is a welcome idea in hair care. But no heat does ad to the drying time significantly. And that's mainly due to the cold air process of drying and pulling the hair into the suction chamber. It had plenty of force on the hair to dry it, yet the hose was long, and the machine itself was space-taking. But if you're looking for straight hair and are manageable on time, RevAir does the job perfectly.
