I gave four stars instead of five stars because the toastie press and warming rack didn’t come with it. They both have to be purchased as options. I think as much as this toaster cost it should have come with at least one of these options.

Controls are intuitive and simple. The screen photos showing toasting levels is very accurate. Panini maker works well but you need to err to the darker settings. Customizable end of cycle tone is pleasant and the clock/date screen is a classy touch. Definitely recommended.

This company is not ready for prime time people. Clever marketing and a slick idea, but the sad truth is that it doesn’t work. I’ve had it for half a day and the screen is frozen. Tried rebooting it (as their site recommends) and still nothing. By the way, I love that the only thing they can tell you to do is to unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Very robust help Revolution…. Really…. Top notch. Now I know some of you will be tempted. “No, mine will be different.” “He just got a faulty unit.” You’ll say. Keep in mind, I am not the only person who has left a review with this problem. I ignored them all and what did I get? A crap toaster, with the same problem. DO NOT buy this product. Think of it as a normal toaster with a broken PalmPilot stuck to the front of it. That is all you are getting. I will be returning it tomorrow.
