Thats what i said to my wife when she came home with it. I looked into it, if i was into toast, like really, really into toast id have to have a lot of money to buy this and i dont. I returned it. I think the value is there, im just not that fancy or loaded.

Lasted just over a year.

Now the screen doesn’t accept any touch input which means now I can’t use the toaster. I have an oversized toaster shape clock in my kitchen. I’m so done with tech at this point.

Posted .So glad you love your Revolution Toaster! If you are using a denser bread, you might need to add a little cook time but luckily with the speed of the toaster, you won't even notice!

It does heat up very fast within 3-5 seconds, It flash brown the bread from outside before the heat reaches the core. The bread comes out very soft from the inside. Having a crunchy toast inside out is not an option. I also bought the panini attachment for $80, which is totally useless. The heat barely reaches inside. After I run it 3 times, I end up with burnt lines, and barely warm core. The attachment is not fully sealed when closed, so expect some melted cheese to drip inside the toaster and some smoke from the burning cheese. It is not economical with the panini attachment, there is no option to heat up one slot. I did like two things about this toaster, the funky modern looks and how sucks in/slow eject with bread flying all over your kitchen.

The issue lies with the depth of the bread slots. They slots are too shallow for most of the bread ive tried, causing part of the bread to not toast. This also affects the panini accessory cage. Part of the sandwich sticks out making me flip the sandwich and toast again. The Instaglow coils are great but they tend to burn everything ive put in there unless i uses the lowest setting…they buikt in algorithms need some tweaking. Overall its a nice idea but im having second thoughts sinc im not seeing a marked improvement over my previous toaster and it was far more expensive.
