Within five seconds of being plugged up, it had already recognized my iPhone, and after another two minutes, the initial set up was already complete and now every time I get in it automatically connects perfectly. It does what it says five out of five will recommend.

I tested on iPhone and android phones without any issue. Make sure not connect your phone is not connected to the Bluetooth car or studio otherwise you only hear your voice inside the car, but the other won’t hear anything. Bluetooth only connects to this wireless auto adapter while using either CarPlay or Android Auto. Make sure the blue light remains solid.

I recently purchased this wireless adapter to enable both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in my car without the hassle of plugging in my phone every time. Overall, it's a solid product with some great features but also a couple of drawbacks.
Pros:
- Easy Setup – The installation process was straightforward, with clear instructions that made pairing a breeze. I was up and running within minutes.
- Compact Design – The adapter is small and lightweight, making it easy to tuck away in the center console without cluttering the dashboard.
- Works Well with Both Platforms – Once connected, the adapter functions smoothly with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, delivering a reliable wireless experience.
Cons:
- Limited Switching Between Devices – If you have both an iPhone and an Android device in the car, switching between them isn’t seamless. You typically have to disconnect and reconnect manually, which can be inconvenient.
- Slight Lag – There is a noticeable delay between pressing buttons on the phone and seeing the action take effect on the car’s screen. While it’s not a deal breaker, it does affect responsiveness, especially when navigating through menus or using voice commands.
If you're looking for a simple, compact wireless adapter for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, this is a good option. It’s easy to set up and works well with both platforms, but the manual switching between devices and occasional lag may be frustrating for some users. If you primarily use one platform and can tolerate a slight delay, this is still a worthwhile investment.

Nice & Easy Upgrade for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay

Unit is super-easy to set up - takes literally less than 2 minutes. Just plug CPW-22 in to your Android Auto/Apple CarPlay car USB jack, connect your phone to the CPW-22 BlueTooth, and that's it. Now I just start up my car and I'm connected without doing anything additional. The CPW-22 is much smaller and lighter than I expected - it hardly weighs anything. I didn't like it just hanging out on the passenger seat or console so I ended up mounting it under the front console of the car using velcro strips. Now you can't see it at all - invisible but MAGIC! Love this thing.

I have a 2018 Honda CR-V and I've been using the Rexing CPW-22 wireless adapter for a few days now and I can say it has exceeded my expetations.
The setup is very easy, you just put it in the USB port, enable Android Auto (while parked) then pair your phone with it and it is connected.
I've always liked using Android Auto as I prefer the satellite view of Google maps (something my CR-V Navigation System doesn't have).
The unit is also very small but the connection is also very stable. I experienced no disconnects, lag or dropouts whatsoever when using this. It also remembers the pairing nicely and all I do is just turn on my car and now I have wireless Android Auto.
The only thing I do not like about it is that it takes up one of my two USB ports in the front which I had one as a charger for my phone.
Overall, the Rexing CPW-22 is a fantastic value and one of the easiest ways to make your wired CarPlay or Android Auto fully wireless. Highly recommended for anyone looking to cut the cord in their car!
Pros:
Quick and consistent auto-connection
Works with both CarPlay and Android Auto
Easy plug-and-play setup
Affordable compared to other brands
Small and unobtrusive design

I received this cool device yesterday, and I already like it a lot. My car has wired Android Auto feature, which is nice, but having it wireless now with CPW-22 from Rexing is much more convenient. After connecting it to your car once, which was super easy, all you have to do each time is just to start your car and wait up to a minute, and your phone with all the applications connects to your car automatically, so you can control it all from the car's media screen. I especially like having Google Maps on a car's big screen, while at the same time I can use Waze app on my phone. So far no connection issues whatsoever. CPW-22 is small, so I was able to hide it in a compartment next to media connection. I highly recommend this product.

I have used countless wireless dongle in an effort to find something that comes to the stock exeprience as close as possible. In short this one is by a good marging the best one I have come across yet and if you need a wireless dongle, then I'd recommend you get this one. BUT there is going to be a difference in experienced based on what mobile operating system you use. Giving this 4 Stars because I would give it 5 for Android and 3 for iOS.
I have used this for about 6 weeks on a daily bases and split the time between an iPhone 16 Pro and a Pixel 9 Pro and to my surprise the experience on Android was far better than on the iPhone. (This honestly surprised me)
On the Google Pixel this dongle performed nearly flawless. The connection has never dropped, I experienced very little hiccups with sound drops while playing music and lag was virtually none existent. Overall just a very reliable and enjoyable experience.
With the iPhone there is definitely lag that is very apparent when navigating (laggy animation on maps), when you skip a track it takes a second or so to recognize the command and I did encouter a few connection drops, where I had to reset the dongle completely because it kept dropping the connection after about a minute. But this was only 1 time and it has worked pretty consistently since. But again the lag is still there and something that personally bothers me, but might not bother you.
The other complaint I have is that it only supports 1 device at a time. And I know most people don't have 2 phones like, but it would have been nice to have a button that switches between 2 different phones (AAwireless does that) for when for example my wife gets in the car and wants to use her phone. For that you will have to factory reset the device every time and that's just such a hassle.
Overall it's a solid device and I saw BestBuy just had it on sale as a deaily deal for like $55 and at the price point it is an abslute no brainer.

My truck is annoying in that the USB port in the center console will charge my phone but it does not support CarPlay. To use CarPlay I have to connect my phone to the USB port on the dash which is silly. I bought this so that I could charge my phone from the center console which is much cleaner looking than a cord from the dash while still being hooked up to CarPlay.
The device is very simple to use. Just plug it in and connect to it via Bluetooth and you're done. Solves my problem well. The device itself is small and lightweight so it can easily be hidden along with the cord to maintain a clean look to your car.
One issue that I noticed is that there is some device lag compared to having your phone hooked up directly to CarPlay with USB. This is more of an issue with Bluetooth than the device and a tradeoff when using a wireless system. Things I noticed were that my call audio was not as clear and my map movement was not smooth. Neither are major problems but they are noticeable so I wanted to share. In vehicles that have wireless CarPlay standard, I noticed similar things so I suspect its just Bluetooth.

Stop Plugging in Your Phone

So far so good. The pairing was relatively smooth and it seems to work well. Time will tell but registering provided another 6 months of warranty. Sure beats plugging my phone into the dash port every time and the device is small enough to be fairly unobtrusive in my Accord. For Android users with an Accord, do not be confused when the message comes up to connect to Apple Carplay, My Samsung S24 connected fine.

The Rexing CPW 22 works great overall—it connects quickly, and having wireless CarPlay is a total game-changer for convenience and keeping my dashboard cable-free. Audio and navigation run smoothly, and setup was a breeze. That said, there’s occasionally a slight lag when switching apps or reconnecting after the car starts, but nothing major. For the price and performance, it’s a strong option. Definitely recommend if you're looking to upgrade your ride without swapping out your entire system.

Overall it's a worthy upgrade from corded CarPlay

Overall, I love that I don't have to plug in to any of our Mopar vehicles with a cord anymore. Just get in, and go. CarPlay happens automatically. We've been using it for nearly a week daily: navigation, phone calls, music, everything looks and sounds great.
The ONLY issue with most wireless CarPlay setups? There's an additional second of delay when switching songs via the phone/steering wheel controls, so just be aware that it isn't INSTANT the way that it is when you plug in corded, and this setup is no different. The trade-off, however, is well worth it, IMHO.
I think ultimately this is a great product. I do think the price point may be a bit higher than I'd prefer. I think the $70 price range is much more reasonable than $99, but overall it's a worthy upgrade to vehicles that don't offer wireless CarPlay.

Pro:
Super easy to set up - just turn on Bluetooth on phone and follow instructions on phone to find the device.
Con:
When setup is complete, unit defaults to Carplay. For Android Auto users, let unit plugged in for a minute or so to reconfigure to Android Auto. Once that is done, its all good to go.
Tried this for the entire day and it is pretty good at connecting and disconnecting from Android Auto wirelessly better than my previous unit that bricked after 3 years.

The Rexing CPW-22 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter is a convenient solution for drivers looking to eliminate the hassle of cables while using CarPlay or Android Auto in their vehicles. However, it’s important to note that this adapter is not a standalone device that adds CarPlay or Android Auto functionality to cars that don’t already support it. Instead, it is designed to convert existing wired CarPlay and Android Auto systems into wireless ones.
Key Features:
Wireless Convenience: The adapter allows you to connect your iPhone or Android device wirelessly to your car’s infotainment system, provided your car already supports CarPlay or Android Auto via a wired connection.
Easy Setup: The installation process is straightforward—simply plug the adapter into your car’s USB port, pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and you’re ready to go.
Compact Design: The adapter is small and unobtrusive, making it easy to leave plugged in without taking up much space.
Compatibility: Works with most vehicles that already have wired CarPlay or Android Auto functionality. However, it does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to cars that lack these features from the factory.
Performance:
The Rexing CPW-22 performs well in converting wired connections to wireless, offering a seamless experience for users who want to avoid plugging in their phones every time they get in the car. The connection is generally stable, though some users may experience minor delays or occasional disconnections, which is common with wireless adapters.
Important Considerations:
Not a Standalone Solution: This adapter only works with cars that already have wired CarPlay or Android Auto. If your car does not support these systems natively, the Rexing CPW-22 will not add this functionality.
Device Compatibility: Ensure your smartphone meets the minimum OS requirements (iOS 10+ or Android 11+) for optimal performance.
Vehicle Compatibility: Double-check that your car’s infotainment system supports wired CarPlay or Android Auto before purchasing.
Pros:
Eliminates the need for cables while using CarPlay or Android Auto.
Simple plug-and-play setup.
Compact and portable design.
Cons:
Does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to unsupported vehicles.
Occasional connectivity issues, as with most wireless adapters.
Conclusion:
The Rexing CPW-22 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter is a great accessory for drivers who already have wired CarPlay or Android Auto in their vehicles and want to go wireless. It’s easy to use and delivers on its promise of cable-free convenience. However, it’s crucial to understand that this adapter does not enable CarPlay or Android Auto in cars that don’t already support these systems. If your car lacks these features, you’ll need to look for a different solution. For those with compatible vehicles, the Rexing CPW-22 is a worthwhile investment.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this little adapter has changed my driving experience. Setting it up was easy , just plug it in, turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on my phone, and it connected to my lexus. Now, I can enjoy a completely wireless carplay without fuss of cables cluttering my space.
What I love most is how seamless everything feels. Whether I'm navigating with maps, streaming my favorite tunes, or taking hands-free calls, it works flawlessly and quickly every time. Plus it even integrates with my car’s steering wheel controls.
