Works well overall. Have had a few sporadic connection issues where audio buffers or the android auto will not connect but well worth it for the convenience of not needing to plug in.

Purchased this to work with my 2024 Honda Odyssey with wired CarPlay. I tried a couple of cheaper options from Amazon, but immediately ran into issues connecting and with latency. The Rexing CPW-42 reliably and quickly connects each time I start my vehicle, and I don't experience significant latency issues. The performance is very comparable to the factory wireless CarPlay in my wife's new car.

I have an iPhone and the product works perfectly. You have to follow the installation directions exactly. Particularly the part about deleting all the auto manufacturers links to your phone. I had problems until I did that and now it works better than any I’ve had previously.

The Rexing CPW‑42 is very much one of the better dongles out there that offers wireless CarPlay / Android Auto without needing a separate companion app. For me and most users wanting to go wireless without massive upgrades, it’s the device to go to and it connects as soon as I start the car. Very good device, I certainly recommend it.

I've bought numerous products from Rexing over the years, both dashcams and accessories. All have been of excellent quality and with great results. This plugin Android Auto wireless converter continues that tradition of Rexing. What else can I say? All you do is plug it in and it performs great!

Worked easier and better than expected. Setup was no problem and was using within minutes. would definitely recommend to anyone with android auto or apple car play.

It works well, no wires needed for android auto/apple carplay. Conbects automatically, does need initial Bluetooth pairing but after that everything is automatic, does give some trouble if you have a vpn otherwise works great

A bit difficult to set up, but once it is set up it is incredibly useful.

Just plug it in and once you connect it to your phone it will aromatically connect everytime.

Easy to connect, no noticeable lag or reduction in quality. It does tend to disconnect from time to time even when phone is paired to the dongle already.

Initial order got lost...called BestBuy customer Service and they quickly expedited a replacement. Came this evening took no time to pair and seems to be working as promised....VERY HAPPY

Another excellent Rexing product. Setup took less than 3 mins and the range of this device is really good. I didn't realize I forgot my phone until I was almost a block away and the music stopped playing. Highly recommend. Just remember this isnt a true Bluetooth connection, it requires your phone's Wi-Fi to be on, but this is the same for any Rexing product.

Worked exactly like it was supposed to. Used it in my Mazda and have really found it to work great!

It is the the best way to connect a phone to your automobile. No need for cords and it keeps you hands free so they can be on the steering wheel

Definitely one of my best purchases. I can use my GPS with having to plug my phone in.

Have a Jeep that I've been plugging my phone into for 3 years. Its annoying to plug and unplug when I want to scan for a carwash or run in and out for a coffee. This literally took me 5 seconds to setup and it works perfectly as I get in and out of the car and I dont have to have a cord hanging over my dashboard.
