Great little rear view mirror camera. I bought it for my company vehicle My personal car has a windshield mount one I'd rather enjoy the bigger screen on this one though. And the menus are easier to maneuver through being touchscreen.

I do not recommend it. Not only is it too expensive compared to the variety of cameras like these that you have on Amazon and for much less. It has few presentations compared to others. And apart from that, it didn't take me even a year to contact REXING and it took them a month to process. Oh better options on Amazon.

The Rexing M2 2K Front and Rear Mirror Dash Cam with Smart BSD ADAS GPS is a reliable and feature-packed device. The 2K resolution cameras capture clear footage, and the smart features like BSD and ADAS enhance safety on the road. The built-in GPS provides valuable location and speed data. Installation is straightforward, and the mirror design blends well with the vehicle's interior. While low-light performance could be improved and the user interface could be more intuitive, overall, the Rexing M2 offers a solid 4-star experience for those seeking a dependable and feature-rich dash cam.

I've only had it for a week but love the quality of the video and recordings.
Still working out the BSD and ADAS. Didn't bother with the GPS as I'm the only driver but am still considering installing it.
The ease of access to the recordings is outstanding! My last one had to be downloaded from the sim card. 10 years old, go figure. But this one lets you bring it up right there on the mirror. 1080p clarity so no mistaking DL plate numbers if needed.
I have it mostly for peace of mind as I have to drive all over the DFW metro plex on a daily basis. Thankfully I never had to use the last one and hopefully not this one either. But if needed for my defense, I know it's there.

DashCams are a must for some of the older cars that don’t have preinstalled features. I have a Toyota 2011, and gave the car to my son to use in the city. Since traffic is always a huge problem, I wouldn’t be surprised if an accident happened and having this dash cam record what occurred will make any filed insurance claim go much more smoothly. For anyone confused, the BSD stands for “blind spot detection,” and the adas stands for “advance driver assist system,” which in my opinion are great to have for new drivers or people that are afraid to drive a car. For me, it’s good for driving at night since my vision isn’t good with age anymore and is nice because the dash cam will let me know if another car is too close. The touch screen is really responsive. Only downside would probably be the GPS system, which we couldn’t figure out how to work. At the end of the day, it’s not a big deal since we usually just use our phones to navigate anyway. The quality of the dash cam is pretty good for both day and night. Instillation wasn’t too difficult, and I’m glad I didn’t run into any issues with the dash cam not covering my entire mirror. Overall a good purchase to say the least.

The Rexing M2 Can Save You A Lot Of Money

The Rexing M2 video recording system may be the smartest purchase I have ever made. I was incensed when I was found to be at fault when I rear ended an automobile that pulled out in front of me and I had the right of way. The very first thing I did when I replaced my car was to invest in the Rexing M2 system. I love that the front and rear cameras record on a 2 minute continuous loop and the quality is tremendous, even at night. This system has a ton of options, all of which are controlled by a swipe of your finger on the mirror. If I want the view from my rear camera, I simply swipe my finger and select that icon. That’s it. If something unusual occurs the Rexing M2 accommodates taking still photos with a tap of the finger. If I wish to change lanes and an auto is in my blind spot I get a warning. Should I be involved in an accident, the camera locks so the recordings won’t be overwritten and I could just pop out the micro disc housed in the rear view so police, attorneys and insurance companies can review the incident. The system is sophisticated but very easy to use. My brother saw what I could do with my Rexing, he bought 3 for his autos. The Rexing M2 may save me a lot of money in the future and I highly recommend the product.

Gamechanger for lane changing with stiff neck

I originally purchased the Rexing V5 thinking the 170 degree rear camera view would allow me to see vehicles on my left and right - basically blind spot detection. I then learned that blind spot detection is a different "thing" and the V5 didn't do what I needed it too. I wrote up a poor review that was really unwarranted and couldn't undo it.
I communicated with the folks at Rexing and got the information I needed. I decided to return the V5 and purchase the M2. I had it installed by BestBuy this past Sunday. So far I like it a lot. The front camera and screen fit over the rearview mirror in my 2012 Prius and the screen is large enough to see what is around me. The blind spot detection, ADAS, and GPS capabilities work for me.
What I really love about the screen is the size and the responsiveness to my touch when I want to view settings or other information. I realize I have only had the M2 for a couple days but it is such a game-changer for me. I have considerable difficulty turning my head because my neck is full of arthritis. The only fault I have with my Prius is the way the slope of the roof and window in the back creates a serious blind spot. Even with a non-arthritic neck, seeing what's coming up on the right side of the car is impossible you can see through a solid wall. The M2 actually minimizes this issue. I was prepared to give up driving completely if the M2 didn't meet my needs.
I am working with Rexing to resolve one issue - the mirror/screen is showing two views simultaneously - the one I would have seen in my mirror prior to installation and the camera view. I think the former is a reflection and am hoping there is a way to get rid of it.
I still look - old habits die hard and totaling trusting the dash cam will come in time. I suspect I will continue to double-check the blind spots.

I am fairly new to the dash cam world, but I do know how to do my research. Rexing was, by far, the best that I found. To elaborate, the ease of use, set up, and installation was easy. The unit fits ove your existing rear view mirror and is firmly held in place by the bands, The camera is very easy to adjust (front and rear) and provides excellent video quality. I have no complaints thus far, and do not anticipate any. I do wish that the camera were more discrete and smaller (still a small size), but for the price point it is a great value. P.S. I had to contact Rexing once (and only once) to resolve a firmware issue. They were professional, friendly, and very quick (within 24 hours) to respond.

Great concept for cars that needs a reverse camera.
This was installed in my inlaw's 1999 Sienna to make it much easier reversing into a parking space. Installation was not difficult but the placement of the rear camera was a bit challenging to get best view while reversing. However, on reverse mode, there is a metering line to ensure visual representation of the object in relation to the vehicle. And on regular driving, the angle of the camera changes to a more upright position but not high enough where it can substitute for the rear view camera.
This device is quite heavy and if your rear view camera is old and doesnt have strong swivel, it will pull then mirror down as it does have weight to it.
This device does not come witha memory card and can also act as a dashcam that records your every trips.
Overall its a good concept for the price. It needs some improvement but good enough.

Best Dash Cam w/ The Most Features!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
This is by far the best dash cam I have purchased. The amount of features and technology it has for the price is the best on the market! It has ADAS and BSD which is what newer cars are now being equipped with. The other multi-camera (front and rear view) devices I have will only do 1080 HD @ 30fps which simply isn’t enough if you want a quality image. The M2 I bought does 2k recording and does shockingly well at night. You can get a live view on the touchscreen of the rear cam while your driving so you literally just look at the screen and change lanes knowing exactly where other cars and blindspots are. I didn’t realize it comes with an 18 month warranty until after I got it so thats a huge plus as well. The included gps plugin device also lets you get exact coordinates and timestamp of wherever you go. So if you ever get in an accident there isnt anything the other at fault driver can lie about because you have more then enough data evidence. Theres too many features to list here in a review but it has everything you would ever need in a dash cam. Im now interested in there other products as well. I saw a night vision camera on there website I think which Im interested in so I might go buy that too lol.

I think that this is working OK so far. I haven't seen or been in an accident since having this installed. The installation went just fine. The price was right for the device and installation. If the store had had a more expensive, more highly rated product, I probably would have bought it. This was the only one they had. Glare from headlights makes it hard to use with cars close behind at night. I moved the rear camera lower on the window in order to make sure that the windshield wiper was wiping in front of the camera, otherwise one just sees a blurred image looking through a raindrop. Overall, pleased. Might have been even more pleased with a higher rated, fancier device with more bells and whistles.

I recently upgraded my vehicle's safety features with the Rexing M2 2K Front and Rear Mirror Dash Cam, and it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
The standout feature of the M2 is its impressive 2K resolution for both the front and rear cameras. The clarity and detail captured by this dash cam are unparalleled, providing a level of visual precision that sets it apart from many other options on the market. Day or night, the footage is crisp and clear, ensuring that every detail on the road is captured accurately.
The Smart Blind Spot Detection (BSD) is a game-changer for road safety. This innovative feature alerts me to potential hazards in my blind spots, enhancing my overall awareness and contributing to a safer driving experience. The reliability of the BSD system is remarkable, providing real-time alerts without being overly sensitive.
The integration into the rearview mirror is seamless and adds a touch of sophistication to my vehicle. The sleek design doesn't compromise on functionality, as the mirror maintains its primary purpose while incorporating the advanced features of the dash cam. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate through settings and review footage.
Installation was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to the user-friendly instructions provided by Rexing. The compact design of the dash cam doesn't obstruct my view and blends seamlessly into the overall aesthetics of my car.
One of the standout advantages of the M2 is its durability. The build quality is robust, and the dash cam feels like a reliable companion for the long haul. The wide-angle lenses ensure comprehensive coverage, capturing not only the road ahead but also potential incidents from the rear.
In conclusion, the Rexing M2 2K Front and Rear Mirror Dash Cam with Smart BSD is a stellar addition to any vehicle. With its exceptional video quality, innovative safety features, and user-friendly design, it sets a new standard for what a dash cam can offer. Investing in the M2 is not just about capturing moments on the road; it's about elevating your overall driving experience and safety. Highly recommended!

This dashcam works really well! I like how it has 2 camera perspectives on the mirror with 1080p resolution and a touch screen for convenience. It easily clamps onto your mirror and doesn't come off easily. The blind spot detector is a great addition too.

Both the front and rear cameras work real well, I've been using it for two weeks now no problems have come up. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is due to the rear camera quality at night. It illuminates pretty good but it doesn't handle car headlights too well. Cars turn into balls of light from a distance, but once up close the license plate and car look fine. I wish the camera could adjust to the headlights better, but at least I know there's a car behind me. Overall the video quality is quite good for the price, and it comes with the handy feature of blind spot detection. (Keep in mind that there is cable management to be considered with this product but you can look up a video on YouTube to figure it out.)
