The camcorder is good but the rear camera is not good at all at night or if the sun or any bright light is behind you. At night the headlights of other cars looks like you are looking at a starburst over most of the viewing glass. Best Buy actually installed this or I would have suspected an install issue.. I have played with the setting lowering and brightening the display with the same results. therefore i could not recommend this product. I did perchance the mid range. M2 2K. a higher price product may have preformed better.

Nice product. Really clear picture. Good to have in your vehicle. My only 2-issues: 1-It powers up and illuminates brightly when engaging autostart, causing unnecessary attention to the vehicle. If it's dark outside, it will certainly draw attention. 2- The camera easily pivots downward, causing the field of vision to be of the ground-DIRECTLY below as opposed to including the vehicle behind you when trying to park. This creates a challenge when trying to back up.

I expected this to take many hours to install; it did not. Took me less than three hours. The wire to the backup lights which is connected to the back camera was too short. The deck lid when opened was too far from my taillight. I had to add more wire. Most of the work installing it was hiding wires. Easy plug in for main power. This product works so well and was so easy to install i just ordered a second one for my other car.

I use it on my van helps see whats going on behind, beware the power cable tends to wear out quick. Rexing does a decent job with the tech, Easy install.

Video quality is very nice only one concern back up camera is not good….. Need improve back up camera guide line behind vehicle show so close. If you need dash cam with the back up camera is not good for you… If you need only dash cam that way very good clear and crispy video nice futures easy to choose

This back up camera is exactly what our grandson needed as a new driver and we feel a great safety asset for every car. We paid to install it there and the technician did a fantastic job. The product works well and it provides a nice picture of what’s behind the vehicle.

Set up was tedious yet easy. I am a little of a perfectionist so I took my time to make it look nice. The camera quality on the front facing camera is great during the day and night. The camera quality of the back facing camera is great during the day but a little pixilated at night but its not that bad. My only issue is when I go to adjust my rearview mirror I will accidently touch the screen and it will come on when I don't want it on but then again when I go to the screen on I prefer the touch screen so that's a me issue. Its perfect and doesn't require a professional installation. It also tells you when it detects you've been in a accident and I believe it locks the footage so it wont be deleted when storage on the sd card is full.

This is excellent in my old car that didn't have one, nor a screen. I like that it only works when plugged in so it doesn't use up the battery, or work when I don't need it. It doesn't obstruct my rear view mirror views either.

A very cool and functional add to my 2010 Mini Cooper. I'm impressed with the video quality. I bought this primarily for the back-up camera function, but all the other features are pretty cool. (Note- if you want to install the parking monitor function, you need an additional adapter that I did not purchase.) Although you can turn off the video feed and use it like a standard mirror, I normally keep the feed on all the time to expand the field of view behind the car while driving. The only downside is that the blind spot and proximity sensors are not 100% accurate. Rexing does state this in their literature, and I may not have my camera perfectly calibrated. Regardless, they are cool features, and I hope to use them more often if I can calibrate it a little better. I would recommend this set-up.

Just ordered and looking at the picture quality and videos it seems pretty good. Installation was easy, but I guess it varies with every car.

Best value and quality, works as intended, easy install, and easy set up

Good and useful camera overall. I do like how I am able to have a front and rear view of the camera. However, the settings are a little bit difficult to set. When I reverse my car, I am unable to view the bumper or see how close I am to the other car. In addition, having the settings to be set to how close the vehicle is to my car is confusing. I would also like to add that this is the same as the front view of the camera. The camera lines and zoom are not aligned and can be irritating. I plan on bringing it back to best buy for some help. The camera that is installed near the license plate is positioned in the middle and I am not sure if that is the right location.

Installed this rear view mirror dashcam on my 2013 Tiguan without backup camera to help me back out of parking space and record video if any accident happen. The lane assist and blind spot assist was an added bonus. The whole process to install the mirror was pretty straight forward and really easy to do. Couldn’t be more happy with this purchase.

Wonderful product, camera quality is excellent and wiring options for rear and gps were perfect. Offers a wider rear view than my normal mirror.

I first bought this for one of my cars. Then because it was such a great item I have gotten a few more and have this awesome mirror in all my vehicles. The optional BSM takes a little time to adjust, but when you get it right, it works phenomenally. The cord was long enough to get all the way back in a 15 passenger van for the backup camera.

Bought this for our daughter as her vehicle has a VERY SMALL backup camera. The quality of the video/backup camera is GREAT! At night, it is a little hard to see behind you, but adjust the rear view camera and use it like a mirror and it works great!

Comes in a decent box, not all glammed with pictures to look special. I installed this on my ford f150 xlt 4 door short box truck. I found a foam gasket pass through on the pasenger side to route wire to fuse box under the hood. Wires tucked along trim and ceiling just fine. Again, ran rear cam down and through a rubber gasket on the floor, then through the truck frame to the rear for the back camera. The gps , well, keeps giving me error. Set the front cam and rear came for blind spot and too close warnings. If i remember, i could update this in a while after using it.
