Best camera you can buy. Easy and very nice picture

I was looking for a good back up camera and discovered this at Best Buy. I chose Best Buy because of the installation they provide at a cost and the product because of its excellent reviews. I’ve had the back up camera/mirror dash cam for several days and it is performing beyond my wildest expectations. It is an intrusive, the wires are well hidden, and the quality of the picture is exceptional.

First off the instruction’s book falls way short of explaining this dash cam. Thanks to Will & Alfredo, who installed and showed me how to operate this dash cam, all with my finger. You can see on the settings page how to customize your dash cam, but with your finger on the left side on the mirror, you can slide your finger up and down to change the view up and down, which helps when backing up in reverse, and the view in reverse can be different than the normal rear view. On the right side of the mirror, you can change the brightness, which helps at night. You can cut the dash cam on or off with the button under the mirror in the middle if you wish, and when your start your car again, it will turn back on automatically. The dash cam shows your blind spots also. The learning curve is to focus on the image in the view as the view is closer than the objects appear but this is to the wide angle lens. It does take some getting use to but for me it is well worth it and the price is great for the quality of this dash cam.

I've only had mine for 2 days, but it's working great. I love that I get a better view on the rear camera than my old rearview mirror. Now I can see in the blind spots because the rear camera gives me a very wide view. I haven't played around with the front camera. I left it how the install tech (Geek Squad) put it. At first I thought the front camera (built into the rearview mirror cam) was too dark but when you start driving, it lights up. The only thing I kinda dint like is at times I can see the front seat reflections and the rear view at tee same time. It's probably something I need to get used to. So far I like my new dash cam. Oh and I was worried that the rear cam might not be able to see thru my rear window factory tint, but it can see thru it just fine. No issues.

Definitely the best dash cam I’ve seen or had, I love the sleek design, it’s amazing quality, and the fact I can go from just a mirror to a back up camera when it’s more practical to use. I loved this so much in my car I bought a second one for my van! Definitely would recommend this one, might be a bit pricey compared to other cams, but you definitely get what you paid for and more!

Absolutely love this thing. My truck before was a safety hazard when I would go to back up because I have aftermarket stuff installed on it of the truck topper and I can't really see out the back after installation which was a breeze. Now I can just see everything so backing up ain't so dangerous. Also my rear view mirror was pretty much point useless with the truck topper on and now I can see behind me

I recently upgraded to this mirror dash camera from my V1p Rexing, and it's a huge improvement. Installation and setup were straightforward, and both the front and rear cameras deliver excellent picture quality. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and continue to trust Rexing products.

The Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam - Black works fantastically. I love that it is both a backup and dash camera. It can be used backup only, dash cam only or both with split screen. It is very easy to use, responds quickly. The price is also excellent and the Geek Squad does excellent work and gives detailed instructions on its use. I recently purchased this device and I'm quite pleased with the quality and simple installation.

So i wanted to get a dash cam and none of my dash cams worked or even connected to my car they were to small and diffucult to install until i ran into the mirror dash cam i gave it a try and then it was fantastic and one of the beat cams and more advanced has alot of features and affordable so i recommend this for a budget and one of the best cameras.

It's a pretty good smart camera. The video quality is decent for most conditions but suffers in low light during night driving. The parking monitor will only work if you can wire it to a hot fuse that has constant power, which may or may not be possible for your particular situation. The smart features only work for the front or for the rear area of the vehicle. You will have to prioritize what is important to you.

Good high-quality dash cam. Would recommend professional installation if you were not automotive savvy. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I’m being generous in giving this two stars. I’m guessing the dash cam works fine, but we never even got to that point. We needed to add a backup camera to an older vehicle and the one the BBY website said was compatible with the vehicle (Echomaster) wasn’t. The Tech at the store was great, and said they had another product that was actually in stock that was compatible with our truck. So, we returned the first one for this one, and he did the installation in about an hour and a half. I want to be clear, this issue wasn’t with the installation. This Rexing product is seriously flawed, starting with the annoyances of the weight of this mirror being too much for the existing rearview mirror of our vehicle, which caused distracting vibrations and shaking while the car was in motion. Then there was the extreme glare on the mirror’s glass. We had to actually point the mirror down toward the floor so we could drive without having streams of light flashing in our peripheral vision. Perhaps the worst part of this product, OK clearly THE worst part of this product, is that the backup camera feature is completely inaccurate when backing up. Which kind of defeats the purpose of having back up camera. There are guidelines, yes, but the lines disappear before you’re actually close enough to where you want to be. And there’s no audio indicator or anything like that once you actually go in reverse. When it looks like you are butting right up against something, you still have three or 4 feet left to go. My husband and I tried adjusting the camera itself and adjusting settings in the menu to mitigate this, but we simply couldn’t make it work. So truly, you have no idea how far away you are from something when you’re backing up. When I contacted Rexing directly about this, thinking there was a setting I was missing, they said it was known issue with a software and that nothing that could be adjusted to help you know the distance you are away from an object or person. I don’t know how a product goes out into the market, calls itself a back up camera, but doesn’t actually help you park safely. We gave it the college try for two weeks, and found it to be actually more dangerous than not having a back up camera at all. We returned the product and are getting a different system by a different manufacturer.

I'm not sure what Best Buy wants me to say about this product. My Rexing M2 Max Pro has not even been installed yet and won't be until January 17. I researched various products before I bought this product. The Rexing dash cams seemed to have better feedback than the other brands. I have taken the dashcam out of the box and looked at it, read the instructions. It appears to be made solidly. Only downside is that it doesn't come with a memory card. That has to be purchased separately. If I begin to have problems after installation, I will come back and amend this rating.

I have it for about 4-6 weeks now and i love it. Easy to install. Quality is good , app also works well.

Easy to install. Great clarity. Only issue is I have a Ford Escape where the 12v power plug is always live so it still captures video even with the car off and when parking mode is off. I may need to hardwire.

Very good camera. Wish for the price it would come with an sd card but i will get it as my free gift. Very easy to install.

This goes over my rear mirror. no fuss, nothing to stick. screen is touchy and responsive. cameras are bright and clear. simple to operate and install.
