Also wanted something with concealment. That's exactly what i got with this dash camera. If you walk by vehicle and look you wouldn't know i had a dash camera.

Posted .HI! Thank you for your review. Yes, in order to use parking mode you need the hardwire kit which is a separate purchase. At the moment, there has been no need for firmware updates on the M3.

Cannot withstand heat

I changed the hardwire kit twice now because it just stopped working. Also last year, with 100+ degree heat in california the screen just shuts off but it will still be recording. During winter it will be working right. This year it did it again but its gotten worst as I can even hear static while the screen shuts on and off.
