After accessing the fuse box and neatly hiding and zip tying the entire cable out of sight, after removing pillar covers and the headliner from my wife's Acura, I got the R4 cameras (front and rear) installed only to attempt to connect it to my hardwire kit, and behold! It's a different type of connector for the camera. Now I will have to undo everything and spend another day redoing it again. The R4 dash cam usb C is not compatible with this mini USB hardwire kit. The best buy site clearly states that it is compatible with ALL Rexing cams. If they want to consider it usable for all their cams, they should consider adding both cables to the package.

Installers Cris and Hunter at the Sparks, Nevada store did a stellar job with installation and coaching. The assurance and convenience of camera coverage front, back and inside vehicle without an obtrusive appearance is better than most any other. A Dash Cam has saved us money in a previous vehicle accident and our insurance company was overjoyed that we had it. It is an inexpensive practical 'add-on' feature for all safety minded people to put in every vehicle traveling on our streets and highways.

Posted .HI! This usually happens when the red ignition wire is installed into a constant fuse. That will cause the battery to drain. Please check the fuses and ensure they are plugged into the correct fuses.

Not for everyone. Works fine with 2017 Outback. Look for tutorial videos on YouTube (if available). No prior experience needed. Setup with one person took about 2 hours. Simple to setup.
