Plugged in my car make/model/year and Best Buy said it would fit my car. Nope. Needed to purchase an adapter kit from Amazon to hopefully make this work.

It’s supposed to monitor movement and turn the camera on, but on my vehicle it does nothing. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with configuration, but not easy to use.

Posted .Good morning, please make sure all the wires are properly connected to their corresponding fuse.
Also, make sure the motion sensor button is pushed down and switched to the ON position.
If it's hooked up properly, you will see 2 blue lights turn on, indicating that it's receiving power.

It does not turn it off and on when the sensor is triggered. There is no sort of troubleshooting help online either.

Please double check your wiring. The yellow needs to be in a constant fuse and the red wire, to a switched fuse. If the camera stays on, it could be the red wire may need to be connected to a different location. Posted .HI! This may be because you have the motion sensor turned off. On the motion box, ensure the button on the front is pushed in so that it can pick up motion.

I’ve seen videos and it’s supposed to light up once it’s powered, bud mine doesn’t. Prior to install I checked the fuses for the hot and switched fuse with a volt meter and ground properly. Still it’s not working, but the camera works. So, I know it’s getting power.

We are sorry to hear you experienced this problem! We do offer two sets of hardwire kits that are for mini-USB and for type-C USB compatible dashcams. This particular product is for the mini-USB models therefore it would not work with a type C dashcam like the R4.

I’ve had it for a month or so. It’s impossible to download footage through wifi. It takes for ever. And mid download it’ll say there was an error. Thanks fully I haven’t gotten into an accident but im scared that when I do. That data won’t be available. I caught people trying to brake into my car. But it only recorded them leaving. Not the initial taps on my window. Almost like 1 minute into the brake in was missing. No evidence of it happening. You get what you pay for. I do not recommend. It is a frustrating product

Posted .Hi! Thank you for your review and I am sorry for your experience with your Rexing product. We have since updated the WIFI app which allows for a faster and smoother connection. You can also try turning off your celular network to allow it to connect.
Try inserting your SD card into your PC and see if you have an RO or EMR folder. That is where locked files are located.
