And when they tried to install it, it doesn’t work at all, when it says it’s compqtible for my car when it’s not.

MAJOR FAIL! NOW MY V5 PLUS IS DAMAGED!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to add to my V5 Plus. The hardwire kit itself is great. The problem is the motion sensor piece. As soon as I hooked it to my V5, it would only record in 3 second clips. Sometimes it wouldn’t record at all. I put a new hardwire kit in to no avail. Rexing did send me a new mini cord which goes from the sensor to the camera. That didn’t work either. I got a new intelligent hardwire kit & same issues. The motion sensor piece IS NOT compatible with the Rexing V5 Plus. My new V5 has permanent defects. The speedometer no longer works. It freezes. I could be going 55 & it’ll show 0mph. Sometimes it’ll freeze at a random speed I was going. I could be stopped & it’ll say 39mph. The IFR setting for the cabin virw no longer works on auto mode. I now have to manually turn it on or off. Very inconvenient. Another issue is upon powering up the dashcam, the rear view doesn’t come on. Just the front & cabin view. Only way I can fix it is by unplugging & replugging in the rear view. Very inconvenient & the plug will get worn out. I hope Rexing is seeing my review. I no longer have the sales receipt from my V5 plus, but I now need a replacent due to the motion sensor causing all of this upon plugging it in.

When the camera would look you connect to it via WiFi, it would take over 30 minutes to try and watch a 60 second video, with buffering every five seconds. If you leave the app the video starts over. 0/10. Do not buy this product. Based off of this dash cam, I would say away from Rexing all together.

Posted .HI, I am sorry this happened after installing the hardwire kit. It sounds like he fuses may not have been installed correctly which causes the device to reboot. Please have the BestBuy tech look at it again and test out the fuses.
