i originally used these kinds of cables with a different brand dashcam. if you don't want to wire your Rexing camera to the cigarette lighter then this is what you are looking for. had it installed by geek squad and now the dashcam is seamlessly placed without any cables in sight. regardless how you feel about your specific Rexing dashcam, i know the frustration of having wires dangling in front of you trust me buy this.

I ordered dash cam which was $299, 256gb SD card, and rexing smart hard wire kit type c. The last two items were recommended to go with dashcam. Here are my concerns 1. It's cheaper $50 and I didn't get price match. 2. SD card and kit were with the dash cam when I dropped it off. Tech told me that I didn't need these two items and I told him that it's required for parking mode and collision detection and now it won't work because of those two items missing. I ended up returning those two items based on what the tech said. Since I was past the return date(delivered by mail)....Best buy, can you please help me with this?

It’s a great product. Front camera is really really good but the rear one is not great. It struggles in low light.

I feel like this is just ok. Instructions were not great, but I know my way around the electronics in my truck. Unfortunately it isn’t consistent. Sometimes it works like it should. Sometimes not at all. I thought a fuse was blown at one point but nah. I gave it 3 stars bc when it works its awesome. And a great value add from BB (free.99 when I purchased my camera so…). But it sucks when it doesn’t work right. What are ya gonna do?

Works great and very easy to to install and hide. Cables are plenty long enough

Bought open box. Installed myself. A few weeks later my parked car was hit. Got the license plate. Clear picture. Cam paid for itself already

Works great it could be pretty sensitive. The installation wasn't bad but if you have a car that uses LP fuses the mini fuse taps that come with the kit works great the LP fuse taps will fall out .

Best investment I've made cause we've had so much car vandalism in town and once I put this puppy on its as if the crime rate went down(it didn't though)

This is a mist have for that frequent driver or casual car club cruising enthusiasts. Easily installed and memory cards are easily upgradable (which I recommend). Getting content is a little clunky but other than that is a win win. Protect yourself and your family against fraudulent claims in case of an accident or relive that exhilarating experience.

Easy to use and install with one button. The sensor is really good too.

The hardwire kit is a great add and allows you to direct wire to the car for additional features with your rexing Dashcam(s). The unit is small enough to place up near the top of the windshield and not be in the line of sight.

Works very well and keeps my dash cam powered without over draining my car battery. I can't speak to how easy it was to install since I had BestBuy install it.

a freebie to the dash cam i bought. it operates flawlessly and with the Rexing V5 system with 3 cams.

Ingenious idea very large peace of mind not hard to install highly recommend it
