Posted .Hi Michael,
You could always unplug the motion sensor, set parking monitor to G-Sensing and use it like a Smart Hardwire kit. That way the camera will only power on when collision/harsh vibrations are detected.
The motion sensor can be a bit sensitive to any object that triggers it.

You'll have to pay an add'l installation charge.

Until that occurred,I had no idea I could still jump like that,being in my 70's and all..

Wrong size fuse on the end of the wire. Camera turns on and off constantly while the vehicle is parked. I have to unplug when I shut off the car

Posted .Good morning, please make sure the yellow wire is in a constant fuse and the red wire is in a switched fuse. If the camera does not turn off, please double check the wiring and voltage, using a multimeter for better accuracy. Thank you.
