Posted .Thank you for your review! I am sorry it did not work for you! The issue you are describing can be fixed with a firmware issue and by making sure you set parking mode to OFF on your dashcam since the motion box already has it preinstalled.
Rexing universal intelligent hardwire kit

Definitely better than plugging it into the lighter. Parking sensor is a plus. Haven’t had an issue with anyone parking and digging/hitting my vehicle. But, sure it works good. Can also turn on/off the parking sensor.

Not worth your money or time

It flips down to use motion detection, but it will only detect motion when someone sit in the front seat. it never sees anything out the back or front window. Rexing then said to adjust the G-Sensor but that has nothing to do with this. That is for the Parking feature of the Dash Cam but there is many warning to make sure it is not turned on. Next, they told me to turn off the unit and turn the Parking Feature on but that does not work at all as well. So, the motion detecting does not work, and the Dash Cam Parking Feature does not work. You are better off saving your money and just spend less than half for just the power kit. Now if anyone wonder I did not install it. I had Best Buy Geek Squad install it.

All three were good for the first week. I hope I can still get my money back. Didn't even shoot in 4k, kept telling me I had to format the SD card; I would have to cycle through the settings three times before the camera would start recording. It never saved any of the settings I would change in the settings options since day one either. I figured all the bad reviews were just people being dramatic but they were actually spot on for this camera.

It doesn't work well
