After researching multiple dash cams, I decided on the Rexing V1. Everything that is needed for installation is included in the package. It also came with a plastic tool for inserting the wiring around the windshield or along the body of the car. Unlike many others cameras, it has a well written user guide which is easy to follow. I particularly like the method the camera uses for mounting. No ugly suction cup on the windshield. When finished, it's very stealthy.... not easily seen from the outside.

The dash cam works great. Setup was quick and simple. Due to fact I have a Mazda with always on cigarette lighter plug I also got the hard wired kit so it would turn on and off with car. Now my only complaint is the mounting tape that comes with the camera had the camera fall off on hot summer day. So I replaced the black mounting tap with scotch clear mounting velcro tape and that has held much better.

This is really a great camera. For me, there was not really a need for a rearview one. About 2 weeks prior, there were s accidents that either happened right in front of me or happened to the car that was in front of me and I had to stay for the local police as a witness. With this camera now, I have a great 170-degree view of the front of my truck and some sides. It really is amazing. 100% recommend.

I purchased this Rexing - V1 Dash Cam as a first time buyer into the dash cam scene. This dash cam made my installation pretty quick simple & easy! I do recommend purchasing the Rexing V1 Suction Cup Mount it will help a lot! The video quality is pretty good only thing is that unless the car is stopped at a red light in front of you its pretty hard to catch the plate number. Overall its a great dash cam1

I have had 2 previous dash cams. Both were by HP. They both worked as expected, but I wanted a dash cam that would be lower profile so I could use my truck's sun screen without having to take down the cam. The V1 filled the bill and is working great. The picture is very clear and the coverage is great. I highly recommend this camera.

Love it. Records the road and license plates very clearly. Records a wide range. Only down side is the sticky pad that it comes with does not last but a few days. The suction cup that I then ordered doesn't last either. I purchased a mount for the rear view mirror, But I love the camera.

The rexing Cam is a good product. So far I have checked a few of the recorded loops on my home computer and they are clear and the audio is good. However, one time the cam did not come on automatically like it usually does and had to manually turn it on. It took about a 30 seconds of manually holding the power button before the unit turned on. After I got home from work I decided to check the recordings. The prior approximately 4 hours of recordings were frozen on one scene and nothing would play. The recordings after I had to manually turn on the cam were just fine. What gets me is that what if. What if there was an accident during the prior 4 hours I thought was being recorded.......

I had a uniden dash cam before this and this is, by far, the best. The picture is HD, the settings are easy to navigate and it handles car temperature changes with ease.

This cam has a great wide view 70 degrees which is better than most. It shoots in HD and you can watch your driving on your computer. Records sound and has versatile setup options. This is a great dash cam!

I got 3 rexing Dascam for all of my family's car and we do love it. Easy to install and to use. The quality of video is perfect that I can see the license plate off another car.

After purchasing this camera, I was hesitant about the quality. After having the install completed, I know that all of my fears were completely melted away. It has been one of the best purchases that I have ever made at best buy to this day. I have recorded a few accidents and run license plates for situations in clear 1080p HD coverage. The bottom line is that this camera is great quality for the price and certainly worth the money spent. I have not had any problems with the camera since purchase, but I highly encourage reading the manual for more instructions on how to work the camera properly. One con is that some cars do not have the ability to record in collision mode when the car is off.

This is my second Rexing V1 purchase. The unit is small enough to be out of the way. The mounting system works very well, and it's easy to use. Great picture quality for the price.

Clear video. Easy setup. Night recording great. SD card does not come with unit, but recommend 128 GB, which provides more than 15 hours of recording time at full HD.

I looked online at the fancy cameras that ran about 200-300 dollars. This little camera only cost me 100 bucks and it is perfect. Great video quality, well hidden, and user friendly

For the price, this is a great dash cam. Very good picture quality. Easy to set up, and the available hard wire kit is simple to install. I now have 2 of these.

I had tried many of these in the past, only to find myself frustrated and returning them after a day or two. This one is different. I was able to put in the microSD card, power it up (they give you a home charger cable and a car charger as well that are both USB, not micro usb plugged) do some basic menu programming and it was good to go. I placed it in my kitchen to watch it work, then moved it to the car. The car install package is very nice, they give you the decent double sticky tape but the unit can be slid off the mounting plate and brought inside. They also include tiny wire clips that you can double sticky to the moulding or whatever, so the wires stay put. The unit has a small battery, used only to finish a recording segment and shut down the unit to prevent any recording errors. This seems to work like a charm. The unit also turns on and off automatically as the car is turned on and off, just be sure your cig lighter turns off when the car is turned off to prevent using up your car's battery. Video quality is decent, day and night. It does not have a GPS unit, so no speed or location data is present, but that can be something you may not really want anyway if you were going 56 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. This will however prove that someone did something wrong, not you. In fact just today I was following a truck that tossed out a beer bottle from their window and it was clearly documented on the video. For a somewhat easy to use, but extremely reliable unit, this would be a good choice. It is a good price point, is well designed, and seems a lot more sturdy than anything else I've ever tried. Just start your car, and it starts recording. When you shut off your car, it shuts off too. After many times of doing this the unit keeps running and is good to have if anything ever goes wrong during your drives. Maybe you'll end up being that person that inadvertently records something that is outrageous or odd, that you'll become a viral video sensation.

The quality is way better than I thought it would be. Also the installation was quick. Barely did anything to set it up!

The way people drive anymore, this item certainly is worth investing in. The only thing I have issue with is that when it is really hot the double stick tape releases the dash cam. This has happened four times in the last month. I did use a tie-wrap to secure the plug-in cable around a cable going to my mirror and now when the double stick releases, the unit doesn't fall onto the floor. Otherwise, so far I have no issues.

Nice product. Clear picture, hd quality is really good. Small one, fits well. Well designed.
