So Awesome, I am buying a THIRD one!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A+++ The picture is AWESOME for both front and rear! The front is 4K and the back is 1080p, which is above adequate. The app is VERY convenient, however, there is misprint in the instructions on how to connect with WIFI. It is not with the "OK" as denoted in the book. You connect by using the back arrow. This little hiccup was not enough to negate my rating because of my experience so far. My husband will be hardwiring all the cars soon. I will update on how the parking record pans out. This is a must have vandalism and break-ins!

Pretty good.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only complaint I really had was the instructions. Not very clear at one point when it comes to syncing the phone to the camera. Other than that was easy to install.

love it.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this in case someone hits me. I have minimal insurance and have had people lie to insurance companies in the past and i got burned. haven't had to use it for myself yet but i have provided video of 2 incidents to other peoples insurance companies. video is crystal clear and you can even stream videos' to your phone. It is fairly dificult to install yourself if you are trying to hide the wires. if you arent trying to hide the wires then I would say do it yourself, otherwise pay for geek squad to install it. they had me in and out in under 40 minutes.

Great camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed 3 of these in all my cars. They work great. Easy to install. Easy to use app. Easy to download videos. Insurance discounts in my area is another plus. I highly recommend this unit because of its ease to install and use. It's also a great price.

Great front and back dash cam
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted a dash cam due to all the driving I do daily for work. This is very easy to use with the app. I did buy my own SD card so it saves more at once but this camera does everything I need it to.

SD card for video watching!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy fitted it and explained how it works. It switches on and off automatically and has sensors for when it is parked. I have not had to use it yet; but have to remove a tiny SD card for any video I wish to see. I would have liked an app. on my phone....

Improved Design
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good. The new wifi capability is helpful, since you had to fetch the memory card to view before. The back camera hinge can get loose at times, wish the tightening was better. Stuck some silicon glue in the hinge to lock it.

Quality Dashcam
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality and clear view camera on front and rear of vehicle. The best dashcam purchase I have ever made. Best of all, the Best Buy techs installed it for me.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I really like it! I keep it plugged into the 12v and it turns on automatically when you turn the car on and then powers down when you turn it off. I did buy a battery storage with a 12v in case I want to leave the camera on when the car is off. Bought a larger 256 GB card since the one that comes with it isn't terribly big for a longer trip. The card that came with it is fine for every day driving.

Good Quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dash cam is good quality and was designed well to fit inside trim of the car. The only issue was with the SD card, which took a lot of effort to insert.

Capture your every move
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shoots great video day or night and easy installation. Came with the kit to hardwire so no need to purchase Separately. The manually provided was very poor quality, the pages were cutoff and printed over so I could not read most the pages so had to figure out how to navigate the settings which was fairly easy. Wish it would have and adjustable screen. The camera adjusts for correction due to the variation of window angles however the screen does not and makes it difficult to see or use for a backup camera if needed.

Junk. Disappointed I bought it.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is junk equipment. Like other reviewers, the unit was very unreliable. The unit would randomly reset, changing all the settings. The unit also would not turn off when needed, draining my car's battery. The mount is poor and would shake. In addition, it was unreliable recording. There were numerous times when I would look at the unit and it was not recording correctly. On the plus side, Best Buy did a great job installing the unit. Just stay away from this piece of junk. No, I do not want a return or warranty. I just want to throw this piece of junk away. Stay away.

Posted .HI! I am sorry you had issues with your device. This sounds like a power issue with your vehicle. If the battery in your vehicle is low it can cause it to reboot. If it is rebooting and not recording as it should, it sounds like a bad SD card. Power your device up without the card inserted and if it stays on the entire time, then the SD card is defective and not the camera.

Great upgrade from the older V1 model
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great upgrade from my previous dash cam I already had a Rexing dash cam that also had the front and rear cams and is nearly Identical to this one but the addition of a better capacitor equals better battery life , and built in WiFi makes this an even better deal so I can get pics as well as video on my phone. and since the inputs are the same as my older model it didn't require much effort aside from mounting the camera to plug it in to the existing power and camera system

Repeat memory card fail; returning to BB
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation and setup was a breeze in my 2017 Sonata. However, a few days into using the dashcam, the memory card error appeared on the display and the cam did not go into the recording mode and shut itself off after another minute. I re-formatted the card with the format feature in the onscreen menu. A few more trips later, the same "blue screen" error showed up on the display with MEMORY CARD fail and unit turned off after another minute. It's been doing this for 2 weeks now, pretty much every 2 days I have to remove the card, reinsert, format and then it works for a few trips. Yesterday, I removed the card and formatted it on my gaming PC by doing the full (thus very slow) format. However, I noticed that even afterrepeated formatting attempts within the dashcam, I found basically ALL footage still on the card, even from over a week ago. Soooo, long story short, the dashcam is unusable since it requires tampering with the card (whether by removing and reinserting or by full format) every few trips, sometimes on the same day if running errands around the town. Not acceptable. I will look for a different and dependable product. The build quality of the dashcam is fairly good, cables are long enough, controlling is also fairly user friendly. Unfortunately, the repeated card fails are forcing me to return it to BB and look for a different model or perhaps a brand of a dashcam. I do not want to start using a different card as these issues may have an underlying problem that a better card may mask and the unit will eventually fail anyway.

Posted .Hello! We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue! This problem is typically related to the microSD card being used. This is particularly common with microSD cards that are U1 (for example Sandisk Ultra microSD cards) as they are not fast enough to be used with dashcams. Clear picture!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dashcam was pretty easy to use, I love the fact that it came with a free 32gb memory card. But the stand out of it is the fact that it has wifi connect, which allows me to view videos on my phone for when I just want to do a quick check. The loop recording was also a plus as it overwrites the oldest recording that is unlocked making it so that I don’t have to do them manually which saves me a lot of time. Overall this camera has been great and I would highly recommend it.

Great entry level car video
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My car was totaled by a pickup truck that left the accident scene without stopping. If I had this camera then , I might have been able to get the license plate. Installation was easy and the camera has worked in temperatures down to the single digits. The video quality of the front camera is good enough to read license plates. The rear camera is also capable of reading the license plates of tailgaters. The videos are stored on a micro SD chip, supplied with the camera, so I have to download the images to computer to see them. This is not an issue for me, but it might be for people who only use a smart phone. The price was perfect for what I got. I could have paid more to get more features, but this camera meets my current requirements.
