This thing already paid for itself, Literally! I got rear ended and the rear facing camera captured the whole incident flawlessly! Showed their insurance the video file and the case was over, no argument whatsoever. What a life saver!! Thank you Rexing!!

I have yet to need to look back at tapings. I don’t particularly like the app as I thought I could use it to notify me of anyone near my car. Maybe it does but I don’t understand how to do it. Therefore, not user friendly. Great price on sale. I thought I could install it myself but, couldn’t so I had Geek Squad install it.

Posted .HI! It does take some patience and work to install the camera, so we do understand. As for the ap, try turning off your cellular network and moving away from any saved networks on your phone. That will help with the connection.

I would recommend buying a larger micro SD card for storage as video runs out pretty quick on the provided one but its great it comes with one at all.

After seeing so many videos of hit-and-run accident I figured it would be great to have. It does give me peace of mind and I love the double vision where you’re able to see front and back. I think it’s a great little insurance policy to have to protect yourself your vehicle and others. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend to someone who’s looking for a dash cam. I haven’t had it for very long but thus far I am happy with having it installed in my vehicle.

About 3 to a month later winter arrived and now it periodically while driving will either shut itself off after coming on when J start the car or just won’t come on at all. The one time so far it had stayed on the camera was frozen so no recording while driving. I do know before the cold here in New England when it was 40 degrees or better it had no issues working. If you live in a cold area I would refrain from making this purchase.

The camera screen would freeze, reboot, and have lines across the screen. I took it in for an exchange because I have a warranty, hopefully, this will never happen again. I'm not surprised if it does.
