DOES NOT WORK ON WINDOWS / ANDROID

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The camera is fine, but I have an Android and I am a Windows users and I can tell you right now that if you are not using a Mac and/or and IPhone, THIS CAMEREA WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU. Unless you are happy with just standard separate recordings of your front camera and rear camera with no possible way of automatically exporting a clip that has both of them together. The Android app is extremely limited and a real pain to use at all. It's basically good for exporting emergency clips, but again, you can only export the front camera and rear camera as 2 separate files. It's not possible to export them together as one video. That brings me to the Windows application (if you can call it that). The Windows 'GPS Logger' application doesn't work whatsoever. Any file you attempt to load, it will begin to play for about 3 seconds and then crash. This has happened every single time i have used it no matter if I try 1 file or 50. You can go on the Rexing board and windows users have been reporting this LITERALLY FOR YEARS and the company has completely ignored it. They continue to sell and advertise a product THAT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL FOR WINDOWS USERS. Shame on Best Buy for even allowing their customers to continue to buy this product for so long without doing something about it.

Having separate videos allows you to save specific video clips of an incident, instead of having it altogether and trying to separate it. Then issue arose with rear camera not showing up again of daylight saving time change. Took back to installer now was out their warranty time had to deal with rexing. Rexing you need to send video a photo with the issue even though still under Manufacture warranty. Don't' even try and call them says phone service not available.If looking for a good dash cam this is not the one

Posted .Good morning! Thank you for your review. Our device have supercapacitors that can handle extreme low and high temps. If it was rebooting, it could have been a bad power cable or an SD card that was too slow for your dashcam.

I bought another one, just to go bad as well. Warranty gave me a voucher to buy a new one. Never replaced the camera, that was after months of back and forth email. Do yourself a favor buy a different brand like Garmin.

It was recommended by the employee at Best Buy. After 5 days I went to the Geek Squad and was able to make an appointment for assistance, but the time line was 10 days away. Unfortunately, Best Buy's return policy is only 14 days. I would not have bought it if I knew it was this much trouble. Also, I will think twice before I make any further purchases from Best Buy. Amazon has a much more generous return policy.
