After getting into my car accident in October I told myself I need to get one, so I did, I had it installed and thought it was going to be hard to figure out but I’m impressed on how easy it was to use and I absolutely love when I start my car it automatically records so I don’t have to press the record button every time.

This is my first dash cam. Installation was fairly simple. I did have to read the manual in order to figure out the various buttons and functions. The screen quality of the display is of good quality if you're looking directly at it. The downside is after you mount it, you will be looking at the display at an angle. The screen quality is not the best when viewed from an angle. It comes with a cable that can be hooked up to a battery or perhaps fuse box. The cable that plugs into the unit and into your cigarette lighter is attached. I wish it had a standard USB plug at the end so I could plug it into the USB powered ports on my electric vehicle. Overall it's a pretty good unit which I'm satisfied with using.

I bet we all can agree that we don't ever want to have to use this camera to prove your case against a liar. But this camera is amazing for saving your the time and effort of just that. This camera has amazing quality and ease of use. This is with out a doubt the best dash cam for the money. Quality/resolution is amazing for both cameras as well. Would definitely get this cam if you are thinking about getting one.

Let me start off saying I went to Best Buy and had them professionally install my unit. I'm sure it was easy but the thought of wiring the rear camera to me just wasn't worth me attempting. Now once you get everything setup I will say it works. Front Dash cam is clear and worth it's cost in this kit which was n't main reason for selecting this. I drive for work so I need it for insurance purposes. I will say in this day in age to not just have a simple app that works as you will see it has a 1.5 rating is a bit of a let down. Than when it comes to the rear camera I would say that was a waste of money and time. If you spend the money for the install like I did and take a look at that low resolution camera You will feel cheated. Very Simply, I would say if you looking for a good front dash cam than it's not a bad price but for literally anything else maybe keep looking.

Easy to install took about 2 hours and the video and image quality is great for the price.

The cameras are good quality. We have factory tint on the windows and can clearly see details on video playback. We had the cameras hardwired (kit extra) by Best Buy. Worth doing for the Parking monitor. The instruction booklet is horrible. It took us a while to figure out how to go from driving and recording to engine off and parking monitor. Over all with all the crime and crazy drivers, it is worth every dollar.

I love this dashcam, it was exactly what I was looking for in a dashcam. The clear 4K resolution for the front camera made identifying things easier when I am reviewing the videos. What I enjoyed most about this dashcam is the temperature resistance. I live in NY and the weather fluctuates like crazy, this dashcam has held on fairly well through the ups and downs.

Front camera has great quality look and very clear. Rear camera is a bit grainy but it works but not a good look at night. Will purchase another one for our other car

This is a quality product that features not only a wide angle front camera, but also a rear camera that records simultaneously as the front. An unbeatable camera that has way more features than any other product similarly priced. Installation is simple if you have experience wiring equipment in vehicles, if not then I would advise having it professionally installed. The video quality is top notch and this really is an uneatable dash camera that I am thoroughly impressed with.

Love this camera, the front camera is excellent, the rear camera is honestly pretty good too! Used this as my first dashcam.

Absolutely NOT 4K. Says Ultra HD 2160P but the quality is less than 1080P, checked settings and it it at the highest setting for quality & no built in gps. Worst part is that Best Buy sold me a USED item under FULL price & did not have it labeled that it was used it has absolutely no sign of us other than a white cord for computer hook up which I thought maybe the company changed the cord color for some reason since I have not purchased a dash cam since 2021 & a finger print that was on the rear cam lense protector, I thought my husband did it but it was not him. Once I got the sd card in my computer my husband suggested to check it since we noticed the other 2 out of place things. Low & behold when we got home I popped the sd card in my computer & there is 2 people's faces I've never seen before attempting to set this camera up during the winter time.

If you are anything like me, you think that you are a good driver and it is all the other people on the road that are the issue which is why I picked up this camera. I have a newer vehicle (2015 Explorer) and after enough close calls with people on the roads in NJ almost hitting me as they run signs and merge without looking I decided to pick up a camera and this set up fit the bill with price and features. The V1P package is great; it comes with everything you need to set up the camera, including a tool to help you tuck the cables away. What honestly impressed me the most was how small the camera actually was as the pictures make it hard to visualize; it is approximately 2.5" by 2.5" by 1.5" and so can be easily placed on the far side of the rearview mirror out of your line of sight. keep in mind to not have it to close to the mirror mount as it will obstruct some of the view. The cables were easy to run though I think including more sticky wire attachments sites would be beneficial as most new cars don't have trim that the wires can be tucked behind. For this reason, connecting the rear facing camera was a bit of a pain and so you will likely need to pick up a few things if you want it to look good as well as last. The video quality seems alright though I did not extensively look at it as it was boring video of my daily commute. In summary, this is a good camera system for added security in driving in areas know to have poor drivers (NJ). Installation is possible for the average do it yourself-er but it will take a bit of time and a few more items to have it look presentable.
