Bought this for my newly driving son. The camera is very sleek and so far the quality it records at is great!. I had Best Buy install it as well and the service given by the tech was outstanding. Hopefully we will never need to refer back to it.

For the most part, it is extremely reliable. Sometimes it randomly turns off while driving, although this is rare. It can also be a bit of a hassle to connect to if you need to extract videos, but at least its through wifi.

I have been searching for a little while for a nice dash cam with the camera for my car. I saw this product in Best Buy. I read all the instructions. I read everything on the other ones as what they were selling this one was the top notch seller I would not buy another type. This one was the top of the line does everything I was looking for? I also turned around and just ordered me a second one for my other car. Check it out folks. This is the best one for you.

Purchased this along with the gps logger and intelligent hardwire kit. The only issues i have is that the picture quality could be better when viewed on the device or app. I could be tailing the person in front of me and you still cant read the plate number. I also wish i had mounted it more in the middle of my windshield and not off to the right like it said, i cant see much of the left side but i can see a lot of the right side. Also, the storage seems like it only last for about 2 days of regular driving on the provided SD card before the loop recording overwrites it, so buy a bigger one if you want it to last longer. The G sensor also wakes the camera up if it rains, causing the camera to stay recording the entire time the car is parked and being rained on.

The dash cam system is easy to operate and understand. Have not had to check the SD card, yet as it was installed a few days ago. Might get a larger card so more video can be stored. Installation was done by Geek Squad and was seamless.

Great dashcam and highly recommend everyone get one. It comes with a 32gb card, but you can upgrade that if you want. Otherwise it continues to record over past recordings once filled. Great investment if ever in an accident and they try to blame you, but you have the proof to send to the insurance companies.

My husband works part-time at Uber and drives a lot in various situations. Many people drive indiscriminately. For safety, he has evidence to defend his rights after the accident. I saw the brand Rexing on BEST BUY, the purchase rate is very high, and the reputation is also good. The package has been received and is well packaged. My husband installed it in about 20-30 minutes. Easier than expected, and the picture quality is good. The front camera can capture relatively fast movements, such as a motorcycle in motion. I love it and I have already recommended several friends to buy it.

    Excellent Dash Cam

Let me begin by saying, I’m a 47-year veteran, now retired, police officer. Having investigated more vehicle accidents and incidents than I can count, I’m can tell you that the best of all possible witnesses you can have is an unbiased video recording. This is not my first dash cam, but it’s by far my favorite. For me, installation couldn’t have been easier, because I left that to the pro installer at Best Buy. He did a fantastic job! This dash cam is tiny, and the installer placed it behind, and to the passenger side of my rear view mirror, so it’s almost completely out of sight of the driver, thus there’s no driver distraction. The tiny rearview camera was mounted to the top center of the rear windshield. The display provides a tiny, split screen view of both front and rear traffic. The initial setup couldn’t have been easier, even for a old-timer like me. The included manual covers everything you’ll need, or want, to know about the setup and operation of the cameras. Of course, it didn’t hurt that the Best Buy installer took the time to set up and review the entire owner’s manual with me. Even without that great service, I was able to further tweak one or two settings myself. The camera doesn’t turn on until the key is in the ignition, and the engine is running. Even if you remotely start your car. That’s a real car battery saving feature. Once the car’s engine is running, the camera automatically turns on and begins recording. A soft chime lets you know the dash cam is up and running. This dash cam comes with a 32GB micro-SD card, and everything needed for installation. The only visible wires are those that run from the top of the windshield trim to the dash cam. That only leaves about three inches of exposed wiring; just enough to easily slip the dash cam up and out of the included windshield mount. I haven’t tried loading the contents of the micro-SD card into my PC yet, but I’ll be doing so in the recent future. Thankfully, this isn’t one of those dash cams that rely on a suction cup to hold it to the windshield. The mount is held in position by an adhesive, and the dash cam can be easily removed from the mount, permitting easy access to the SD card, and the settings buttons. Unlike every suction cup-style mount I’ve ever had, there’s no chance this dash cam will unexpectedly pop off and end up in your lap. Would I recommend this dash cam to a friend, you better believe it!

This is the only dash cam I will use. Having the rear camera is a great edition to the front camera. I had a couple of accidents and was told that I should get this. My first one got old, but worked well so I replaced it with another. I have no regrets. Kendal B.

This is one of the very few dash cams that can withstand the sweltering heat of Arizona. It doesn't have a lithium battery so you don't have to worry about it swelling up and causing issues. There are vent ports on the bottom and sides of the unit that do help keep the unit cooled (but I didn't notice any fans). The setup was relatively easy. I would say the cable that connects the rear view camera to the main unit is about three feet too long, so I ended up having to shove an excessive amount of cable into the brim of my interior. One complaint I do have is that the display is not... "windshield friendly". By that, I mean that if you have it mounted on your windshield, which is really the only option, the angle of the screen makes it impossible to view it correctly. I have to crane my neck in awkward positions just to look at the display, since there's no maneuverability. I ended up needing to use the phone connectivity option to view the display. I do wish the GPS unit came with it, but it's available for purchase on other online retailers for about $25-$35.
