I am have been looking for a good Dash cam for past few years after getting rear ended on my previous car. The features I was mainly looking is have at least 1080P\HD recording for both front and back , finally decided to purchase and install Rexing - V1P Pro Plus in my car. I purchased this for $139.99+tax at a $60 discount during thanksgiving sale at Bestbuy which is great and I used that discount to get this professionally installed (hardwire) in my car by Best buy Geek squad for $59.99. Bestbuy version of it comes with hard wire kit and a 32gb Kingston micro sd card so no need to purchase anything separately. Based on some of the video reviews 32gb would hold 3.5 hours of HD video for front & back recording. Features and quality of the products that I like about: For the price this product has excellent value . the options within the device are very easy to use. The loop recording can be set to either 1 or 3 mins , in case of a recording needs to be locked it can be done with one button press. The device also has wifi connection meaning you can connect you smartphone to the device to see or download the recordings. The device supports up to 256gb of micro sd card which means it can hold recording up to 26+ hours recording with 256gb card. Because I have hardwired in my car it turns on and off automatically when I turn on or off my car , it starts the records usually after few second when I turn on the car. The software application which you can downloaded and install to view the video is very nice because it displays the car on the map also the device can record the speed of the vehicle as well. The smartphone app is easy to connect and can be used to quickly check the recording. In build GPS is big plus because it records the coordinate while recording video also the audio quality is good and also have option to keep turned off. Some of the improvements needed for next version: 1, Quick help guide doesn’t specify anything about the time zone setup because if you don’t setup to proper time zone then it automatically resets and creates the recording in wrong date & time. I have to google the issue and found a FB page from Rexing on how to set this up. This could be really big issue and end up with negative review from someone who do not have patience to lookup for solution themselves. BestBuy geek squad did not setup this either. 2, Smartphone app needs some of improvements , I was not able to download single recording through the app . Either the Wi-Fi connection is poor or the app the huge issue . A 200mb file should take less then few mins to download it but I was unsuccessful. 3, The inbuilt display on the device can be improved 4, The software application to view the gps information is slow and when the video is skipped it doesn’t map the path for skipped part also the application froze couple of times. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and also recommended this dash cam at a discounted price like I purchased.

Camera and audio are excellent, I have mines set up to run 24hrs. Love this dash cam.

The Rexing V1 Pro is good. The picture quality is above average (wish it was 4K). I recommend having it hardwired. Best Buy did a good job setting it up. The app is not the greatest but it doesn’t take away too much from the product itself. I also recommend getting at least 256GB SD card.

Great dash cam took approximately 2 hours to install. It works as advertised. I like you can download your videos to your smart device wirelessly.

The Rexing-V1P Pro Plus dash cam is great. The color screen is easy to read and is a valuable tool for capturing your drive time in any weather situation. Having a rear camera is important because you can't always keep track of what's going on behind your vehicle. I highly recommend this dual camera unit.

Easy installation as long as you can watch a youtube video. I've used it for over a year now and everything works well. Just do the research on which SD cards to use and how to format them. Pretty seamless after that.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something slim and did not have a suction cup. After install the unit was nicely hidden and protrude little. I also hardwire this to the car so I did not have to use the power source from the outlet.

Everything seems to be working as advertised. Screen in very small, but not even sure why there is a need for a screen as you would normally download the video to another device. Had it professionally installed by the Geek Squad and it was an absolutely perfect job. Very professional with no wires exposed. Had it wired to a constant power source so the camera would work even when parked.
