However, some users have reported issues with the device's reliability, SD card compatibility, and the performance of the app and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mounting, programming and wire connections are very easy. Some kind of of issue with clock maintaining correct time. Think its resolved now. Check DST or connect to fuse box? Compact and provides cabin camera. Still tweaking settings, but overall, feel its a good product, aside of some caveats. Reviewing saved files is best done through pc. Wi-Fi is crap and depending on how you mount, pulling the memory card can be less than pleasant. Before purchase, strongly suggest in depth research on other dashcams. Still would buy again, because of the very low profile when installed and its other options.

The camera works. the cabin camera doesn't turn easily and almost felt like I was going to break it when adjusting it to the correct position. The computer USB cable (USB type A to Mini B) that comes with the package is complete junk. Toss that cable away because it can not transfer enough power to the camera to keep it powered on. A decent cable will fix this issue. You can use it as a web cam if you so wish to or transfer the recordings from the camera to your PC with out removing the SD card from the camera.
Over all it isn't bad camera with a decent picture when it is recording.

Working well, no problem installing it with the included hardware and wiring, the suction cup is very well designed and holds like glue, but easily removed and repositioned any time. The cable was longer than expected making it very easy to route the cable were it needed to go for a stealth installation. The only thing lacking was a storage solution straight out of the package, no onboard memory or card included, so having to purchase an SD card after the install was a bit inconvenient, the packaging should clearly state that you need to buy an SD card to be able to use the Dash Cam.

I'm not sure if it was because of the kinda phone I have or what but I couldn't look at my videos on the app or do anything that involved this dash cam unless I had my data turned off. It takes great footage, very wide views of everything in front of you, & the in can facing camera is pretty decent as well, it was kinda weird seeing myself while I'm driving but I just wasn't used to it. I would recommend this cam, maybe just not the app. Lol.

How I Wish For Better But This Is What I Got...

It's okay for the basic intended purpose but that's it. The grief begins when you realize it only works with the included bulky 12V plug and will NOT power on via any existing USB chargers although it connects via a mini USB cable. You're either forced to use the bulky plug it came with or do a hardwire install directly to your car's fuse box.
The controls are non-intuitive and take a while to figure it. They can also glitch between switching modes and get 'stuck', only fixed by powering the cam off and on.
Furthermore the cam is NOT constantly connected via Bluetooth (nor does it support it) but manually through your phone's Wifi via the Rex app. This clunky connection is lost on camera power off and will have to be manually set every single time it is used, so good luck retrieving anything important from it while under pressure or on short notice after an incident.
Regardless of the claims made by Rex regarding the 'capacitive battery' the camera will never normally power on if it's not plugged in to the 12V; that means you can't review the recorded content nor transfer via wireless if an emergency forced you to just grab the cam and leave everything else in the vehicle. It is best to just have a dedicated microSD card reader on your phone to read the contents directly from the card if you need to show something to law enforcement on the spot.
The video quality is acceptable depending on setting, but the highest quality suffers from reductions in frame rate and will also require a higher capacity microSD than the included 32gb.

I just got this and have not had a chance to set up the hardwire kit (which came with the special bundle package) but the camera is nice and sleek as I am using it with the 12V plug. The picture quality is really good and I like the fact that you can record just the road or the road and the cabin. I love that I can just connect with my phone and use the app to download videos!
My only recommendation would be to make the menu easier to navigate but this is definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend going to YouTube to find a video on how to set up this camera. Also, use temporary tape, like Scotch tape, to set up your first windshield placement so you can test your settings and adjust the position on the windshield to suit. I made the mistake of setting the dash cam too high and too close to the rear view mirror so views were poor.
Also I found that the FHD setting is the best one for front & rear recording.
