Customers express satisfaction with the V33 dashcam's video quality, ease of use, and overall performance. Many appreciate the GPS, high resolution, and parking monitor features. Installation is considered neat, and the night vision is useful for driving at night. However, some customers find the mobile app difficult to use when retrieving video footage, and the mount may not be suitable for all windshield types.

This is a dazzling triple channel dashcam with front, rear and interior views. Feed can be viewed simultaneously, and this baby is packed with every option you'll ever need. This unit provides 2K recording, GPS, night vision, a parking feature which surveils your unattended vehicle (wiring kit is sold separately), loop recording {when your data card is full and maxed out}, and a 170-degree viewing angle on all cameras.
I tried this dashcam in various driving situations and was quite pleased with the results. Photos and videos were stellar. Everything was crystal clear and night videos were fantastic. Video quality was smooth with no visible shaking. Included with the product is a 64gb (Gigabyte) memory card.
I prefer to unmount the dashcam when leaving my vehicle (even though the unit is "low profile". I must say that removing the unit from the window mount is a little cumbersome. The removal and reattachment of the unit could have been better designed in my opinion to make this process a little easier.
Product registration was simple. Paperwork is supplied with a QR code which is easily scanned and all you have to do is enter the product serial number. Upon successful registration your product is covered for a period of 18 months vice 12 months.
In closing, this product is really fantastic. It has a very well written manual (included) which is easy to understand and follow. Video recordings and photos are crystal clear. This product as compared to 2 other dashcams that I have owned previously puts them all to shame. This is the one and only product to use and own. Highly recommended.

I’d like to start by saying that I love the camera and all of the features that I could use without the Rexing Intellegent Hardwire Kit, which I am buying at Best Buy. The setup with very easy following the included instructions. Everything was literally drawn out in the included booklet, which made installation easy. I cleaned the inside windshield and the back window, then waited the specified 20 minutes before installing. I stuck the sticker on the windshield, applied the 3M adhesive to the bracket and stuck the camera on. I then installed the back camera by sticking it on the back window. I didn’t tuck in my wires, as I am going to have it hardwired and have a professional install it at Best Buy. I inserted the memory card, plugged the power cable and the rear camera into the main camera and it was game on. I started my car and turned on the camera. At first I entered the Menu for Setup mode, connected to Wifi, updated the time and date settings, then formatted the included memory card. I proceeded to check out the views from all angles, on the camera and in the app. I proceeded to drive around and see what I could capture on my new Rexing - V33 3 Channel 1440p+1440p+1440p Resolution Dashcam with Front, Cabin and rear camera, GPS, Mobile App, Parking Monitor - Black. I captured pictures of cars in front of me, the house behind me as I was leaving the house, traffic and even an employee at a fast food restaurant, just to see if it picked up detail. I have blacked out all personal info on tag numbers and peoples faces, including my own inside the car. As you will see the pictures are fantastic. I see only 2 cons with this camera. Firstly, the wires are thick. Even though I am going to have it hardwired into my car, I still wanted to see how hard it was to tuck the wires in. It was kinda difficult for me. Secondly, the screen may be big for most people, and I’m sure they are smaller on other cameras as well, but I’m older and wear glasses. I had a hard time seeing the camera. Once I connected it to my iPhone 14 Pro, I was able to view it fine on it. I also connected it to my sons Google Pixel 7, and again it was fine on there too. The picture and video quality are awesome. I’d recommend it. It’s a great camera. Easy to setup and easy to operate.

Between the wife & I, over the last dozen years or so, we've owned 5 or 6 dash cams. As with phones & other devices, they've gotten better & added features, and the V33 is the latest. Rexing has always had a good reputation in the field, so I felt confident about the new install.
I immediately purchased their Intelligent Hardwire kit; I've hardwired every cam I've owned. First of all, who wants something stuck in the cigarette lighter plug; it makes for a much neater install. Besides, if you don't hardwire, you're unable to get all the features built in to your device, like parking protection - if the unit detects motion, the cam turns on.
I will say I had some initial difficulty setting up - there's a card that comes with the camera containing a QR code to download the companion app. It didn't work, so I had to get in contact with tech support. I received an immediate answer that the app was pulled for a technical error, a new version had been uploaded, and was awaiting approval from the Play store. For the interim, I was directed to the website where I was able to download & install the app without difficulty. I had some other questions as to operation, including the wifi function, and tech support answered them fully. Just mentioning this in case someone else runs into the issue, but I'm sure the app problem will be resolved in short order.
Having had other dash cams, I will say that the V33 boots up pretty quickly; I can put my hand on the door handle to enter, by the time I get in my seat, it's already capturing video. The video quality is outstanding as well as the field of view - the best I've seen yet. The other thing that impressed me is after a drive of about an hour, the unit itself was warm to the touch - not blazing hot as I would've expected capturing 3 different HQ streams.
It's also a nice feature that the memory card is included - I've had cams where I've had to provide my own. One thing I wasn't impressed with was the mount - which amounts to just a simple plastic slide. I would prefer a magnetic mount as I've seen on other units. The other thing I'd like to see is a larger screen.
If you settle on this unit, I would strongly suggest you get the Intelligent Hardwire kit. There are two choices - the simple or intelligent hardwire. With the Intelligent, you get the gravity box you see in one of the photos below, which enables the advanced parking features.

Rexing is the best Dashcam brand

As someone who does Doordash a lot, I knew that a dashcam was a must for me. When researching dashcams Rexing continuously popped up as an extremely highly rated and well regarded brand and now that I tried them out I can see why. I think this is the all-in-one package where it comes with 1440p cameras for the front, back, and the inside of your vehicle. The biggest issue with most dashcams is that the video quality always looks blurry or unstable, with these 1440p cameras you can rest assured they can capture anything including license plates. They even have cool features such as a built in gps that can track exactly where you are, night vision for those night drives, and even a surveillance mode that can detect any motion while your car is park and start recording. They even include a 64gb memory card which you'll need for the high-quality recording that these cameras output. It was super easy to install set up and operate with a 170 degree viewing angle to capture just about anything. Highly recommend.

The All-In-One!

Rarely does one see an all-in-one package for dash cameras. This all-in-one package from Rexing comes with everything you need to fully monitor your vehicle. The package comes with a front dash camera, a rear dash camera, and a cabin camera.
Inside the package, you also get a free 64GB SD card. Few manufacturers provide an SD card with their dash camera, so this was a nice addition to the already stacked package. Kudos to Rexing. The setup process didn’t take too long. The hard part was the wiring but besides that, anybody should be able to install this kit easily into their vehicle. There is also a plastic cable tool included to help with cable management.
Something that I loved was how discreet the front dash camera was. This one blends in with my vehicle a lot better than my previous dash camera. I can say the same thing for the rear dash camera. The rear dash is even more discreet than the front dash cam. I found that it was barely noticeable from the outside.
Video quality is great at 2k resolution for the front, rear, and cabin cameras. The wide-angle cameras allow for the optimal view of what is going on around your vehicle. This dash camera also does a nice job of recording during nighttime drives. There is also a parking surveillance mode available which will detect any vibration or motion and the cameras will then proceed to start recording. The caveat is that one will need to buy a hardwire kit from Rexing to enable this feature. Cool feature, nevertheless.
Overall, this is a great deal for a dash camera. There is no need to worry about buying each particular camera type as this kit comes with everything you need. Simple installation and extremely easy use are a plus. I would’ve preferred a touch screen over the buttons for navigation but considering the price of this dash camera, I can’t complain too much. Dash cameras should be in every vehicle for everyone’s safety, if you need one, I do believe you should give this one a shot!

I was so excited to get a dash cam and really wish i would have gotten this sooner because we were in an accident last month. Being in an accident and the other person being in the wrong really made me realize the need of a dash cam. This dashcam is perfect for me. I will start by saying thaf i installed this in a 2021 dodge journey. I decided to place it right under my rearview mirror because it is in sight for me as well as not affecting seeing around me while driving. I love that this dashcam is small but still has a good size screen that gives you a wide view. It takes up hardly any space on yiur windshield. The picture and recording quality is amazing, crisp, and clear. I love that I can swap the screen to show a dual screen outside and inside the car, just outside, or just inside. I was able to easily set the time, date, and other settings using the up and down buttons after pressing the menu button. I love how both the inside and outside camera lense can also be adjusted by clicking it up and down for the perfect view. I love how there is GPS and it tells you how fast you are going and allows to me add location marks. I love the ultra wide viewing angle because if we are to get in another accident i feel like it will cover the angles for me. Overall i feel more protected having this dash cam because all the proof will be there if i need.

Much Potential, App holds it back from prime time

If you’ve driven a modern car with a back-up cam you can relate how much value, and peace of mind is provided. Gone are the days of backing up blindly hoping to avoid that smashing the mailbox, another vehicle, or kids bicycle undeniable crunching sound.
I have had various backup cams systems, both 3rd party and OEM, and have been accustomed to a 7 inch screen 3rd party, and 11 inch touch panel OEM.
High expectations for this product in deed, however for me these expectations exceed what i am able to achieve with the Rexing V33+ 3-camera system.
Please caveat my personal experience that, contrary to other reviewers, required multiple calls to tech support, ranging as simple as why does the box apparently include 2 of the same mount plates, to the more technical, why won’t my phone Rexing Connect App connect to the camera, and why doesn’t the unit format the memory card.
Rexing support last week was able to answer the previous install question, but this week I’ve not been able to receive a phone answer, nor email response, nor call back; so please excuse my frustration in this diatribe re: the V33+ under-performing my needs.
I admit having to struggle through trial-and-error, and watching YouTube videos of their different looking products. I believe they will ultimately have product specific help guides, but for now i had to experiment with different buttons to find and navigate the menu. I never was able to format the memory card from the unit, but found a tab inside the app settings where i could and it seemed to work. I recorded a video of a drive on iPhone 14 assuming it would show up, though it never did, most likely user error on my part.
The Parking monitor (Tesla Sentry Mode equivalent or so i thought) would have been one of the features I’d like, esp when parked at the airport for several days, however when i tried to set it up, i was notified on-screen that it requires their Smart Hardwire Kit (a good option that i was unaware of until now)
I assume blame for my faulty presumption that the rear cam, mounted inside the cabin on rear windshield, would provide similar view as bumper / trail hitch cameras like I’d been accustomed to. While it’s cool to see the rear surround view, or have evidence in the unlikely event of being rear-ended in an accident, for me it does not assist backing out of the driveway without worry of aforementioned obstacles.
Apologies for sounding harsh, the V33+ is not without its merit, the images from such a small sensor are really pretty astonishing, save for the interior cam which is black and white, though seldom used in real world operation unless for an Uber or Lyft ride-share driver.
There is definite value, particularly for cars that have inadequate, or non-existent, backup cams. However the small size of the screen, (compared to most modern 7-inch plus screens) means my wife or I’d most likely have to perform the setup steps to view on a smartphone.
This product feels early stage for me based on the inconsistencies I’ve experienced in the Rexing Connect App. It’s certain to get better, and I suspect they will flesh out their support team, or pare down the high # of SKUs to a more manageable product corral.
One particularly interesting feature of the RC App is shared driving videos, albeit a guilty pleasure gawking at other drivers accidents and close calls. I remain undecided how I feel about that.
Pros
+ compact form factor
+ excellent 1440p x 3 cam image quality
+ video evidence for use in case of accident dispute
+ included 64 GB MicroSDHC cars (with reader)
Cons
-small screen, almost requires phone app to properly view
-setup process more detailed and cumbersome than expected
-tech support did not return nor answer repeated calls
-a lot of trial and error on the setup
-app needs some work, I fell into an endless cycle requiring cam reset
Conclusion
This is a great product in theory, though in my personal opinion the execution and cumbersome setup diminishes the usage value. If it included the Hardwired Kit so Parking Mode worked out of the box, I’d probably have found more use. My primary intended usage was as a rear mounted backup cam, but from the back windshield, in my use case, it’s a nice to have, not a need to have.
Recommended pass on this product, and revisit once the app matures and is less finicky.

Excellent Resolution For a Dashcam
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: This is a good – but slightly complicated – system and is worth the money.
The V-33 Plus is a 3-channel “dashcam.” That means it records a front-facing view, a view of the car interior (“the cabin”) with audio recording and a read-facing view. The resolution is selectable by the owner but I found the factory default to be perfect. The cameras function well in both daylight and at night (the interior is illuminated by some infrared LEDs) recording video on a 64 GB micro SD card. Video files which you may want to keep can be downloaded to your smartphone OR copied to your desktop/laptop computer.
This system is a 3-camera setup which is probably more than most users will need. The camera covering the passengers is probably an unneeded capability for most drivers unless you drive for a ride share company and need to record your passengers for your safety/peace of mind or perhaps you need to keep an eye on your passengers (kids?) for some reason. The interior camera also records audio which I turned off – I don’t need to records conversations with my wife who is usually my only passenger.
Past dashcams I’ve had did not survive my car’s interior temperatures in the summer (we live in Florida) but the manufacturer says this system “…uses a temperature-resistant supercapacitor for added reliability.”
I recommend professional installation unless you’re pretty handy with automotive electronics. I also recommend having this unit hard-wired into your car’s electrical system to minimize the devices plugged in to the “cigarette lighter” 12-volt outlet. Kits to do so are about $25 from your installer.
Think long and hard about where you want this mounted on the windshield: Do you want/need to see the viewing screen while driving? Will it obstruct your view of the road? What about the view screen reflection off the windshield – especially at night? It’s going to be one more item that is stuck to your windshield – I already had several (electronic employee parking pass, electronic toll payment device, rear view mirror, stand-alone GPS). I would up putting it high up on the passenger side where it was hidden from my view by the rear-view mirror although it can still record most of the interior activity.
Mounting/dismounting Instructions: It’s not clear from the owner’s manual how to install/remove the dashcam from the black plastic windshield mount. (You have to move the windshield unit upward on the mount and keep it parallel with the windshield surface.)
Some settings/capabilities referred to in the owner’s manual are not available on the dashcam and nothing is said about them being an extra cost accessory/capability.
I had problems trying to view video directly from the micro SD card and had to copy the files to my PC. Then I could use a video player to watch them.
When moving files from micro SD card to PC:
• Front and cabin views appear in the “Movie” folder with the file name suffix of “A” for the front view and “B” for the cabin view.
• Video from the rear camera appear in the “Movie_E” folder
To find files for a specific event, you will need to make note of the date and times in question and copy those files. You can’t do it by file names since they are not consistent between the “Movie” and “Movie_E” folders.
Pros:
• Resolution is very good on all cameras.
• A lot of data (icons) are presented on the system’s view screen.
Cons:
• Plugs into the “cigarette lighter” (i.e., the 12-volt plug in your console) and a hard-wire kit (I recommend it) is an extra cost.
• Glare from video screen on windshield or from the viewing screen at night may be distracting depending on where the main camera unit is placed..
• Some glare from windshield/windows/interior objects depending on lighting conditions
• Video files are split between two distinct folders on the micro SD card. Forward and cabin video in one folder and the rear video in a second folder.
• The MENU function is not available when the WiFi is on.
• A lot of data (icons) are presented on the system’s view screen and it will take a while for users to learn what they all mean.
• I had to make several attempts to set up the camera unit to work with my iPhone. The Rexing customer support people were very helpful (and patient!) in getting helping me get operational with their app on my phone.

Dashcams are one of those tools that way too few people utilize for their vehicles. Car manufacturers should have these pre-installed in all new vehicles. Some do already, like Tesla, for example, but these should be for every car, van, truck, or SUV. And to take it a step further? Insurance companies should pay for them for you because, after all, it's not only helping you out by having a recorded version of an event, but it also helps them to litigate if there are any arguments over who's at fault in an accident, for example. What is the moral of the story? Dashcams should be in every vehicle. However, it's easy to look at a price and think, "well, this is probably good enough." You may be wrong. There are some very inexpensive dashcams, but I suggest you wait to purchase one. If it's under $100, it won't do you much good. You have to look at the features. One hugely important feature should be the option to hardwire. This unit can, but you do have to purchase a kit in addition to the cam itself. No big deal, though, because even with adding the equipment, you are still looking at an excellent value for the entire installed unit. I chose to have Best Buy install it (free for Total Tech Members). They've done my other vehicle and are quick and efficient with their installs. Why should it be hardwired?
Well, a few reasons, but the main ones are that it can sense the motion and movement of the vehicle and turn on automatically. If you're parked, for example, and someone either attempts to enter the car or hits the car with their vehicle, the cam will quickly turn on and record. That's perfect for those of us who may want some further protection from car prowlers. The app (Rexing Connect) is excellent too. Far too often, dashcam apps could be better implemented. But this app is great so far. It's easy to connect to your dash and easy to navigate too. This package also comes with an SD card already in the box, so there is no need to purchase your own (unless you want to maximize the size). The bottom line is if you're in the market for a dashcam, this one is perfect. I don't need to blog my driving or have it be ultra HD 4K with HDR. It's not a TV. 1440p is plenty!

I've had this Rexing V33 dashcam for a while, it has front windshield, in-car and back three cameras, it also has a built-in GPS, and a parking Monitor, all of these features have been working well. I'm happy I made this purchase.
The Rexing V33 3-Channel dashcam has a full function system with three cameras to capture footage from the front, cabin, and rear of your vehicle simultaneously. The 1440p resolution for each camera provides high-quality video recording, which can be beneficial for capturing important details on the road. This dashcam has a built-in GPS module. This information keeps the records of the car travel routes.
The installation was very easy and fast. No confusion and frustration. It connects to smartphone and I can read its data and control it on my phone, thanks to modern technology.
We are all happy with this Rexing V33 dashcam. We'll using it everyday on our commute or trips.

This dash cam is great and has a lot of features. The picture quality is great and I would recommend this to anyone looking for more than just recording video. This also has a built-in GPS and tracks your speed. It has other features that activate recording if you are parked and away from the car. The only thing about this, is the size of the camera since it has a built-in monitor. However, the screen allows you to change settings quick without needing to use an app only. You can also use an app to control the settings, but we all know apps are a bit more tedious. In addition, the app for this camera is very easy to connect as well.
I would recommend this camera if you are looking for more than just recording video.

I am so happy with my purchase. I bought it after an accident where i was not at fault but there were 3 people in the other vehicle. They all said it was, so the police unfortunately believed them. If I'd had this installed at the time i could've shown them i wasn't. So now it's hardwired into my vehicle and comes on connects to the app when my vehicle starts. I do feel better protected from lies than before, I can downloadthe video instantly and play ot back for the officer if necessary. I like that it has front, cabin and rear recording. The camera also comes on if it hit in a parking lot unattended. It records valet drivers.
