Overall is good and work very well in a simply manner. Good image quality. Back camera would be improved considering the effects of light from other vehicles and the tecnology available for this purpose.

Camera was buggy right from the start. - Sometimes it would power on, sometimes not. Sometimes it would show the bootup screen and power cycle over and over. - Wouldn't keep the time I set. Sometimes the date would be off by years, but not always. - No real manual, just a quick start guide...not even online. There's menu options that you'll have no clue what they do. - Tried looking for new firmware, since I thought an update may help. Nope, no firmware available on Rexing's site for the v5 at all. - Tried to play back a recording on the camera and it froze up. That was my last straw. This all happened my first two days of owning this thing. Taking it back to the store now. I'm a 20+ year IT guy, so I'd like to think this wasn't all user error.

This is my 3rd Rexing V-5. I have had all three installed by Best Buy. The picture quality (even at night) is very clear. For anyone thinking about protecting themselves from false claims while driving, this is the way to go. For Uber or Lyft drivers it is totally worth it to have the front, back, and inside of you rides recorded. DONT GO CHEAP, in court, clarity of the video could make or break you defense. Truthfully, I have not used the GPS or Voice activation. The manual is small and really thick!

This dash cam has great video quality. Just wished it came with removable suction mount for the back camera and the windshield unit other than that it is a great product.

Great camera all around. Easy to install and easy to use. I would definitely recommend the interior and rear window camera set up.

low-res. doesn't record right. stops working randomly and has to be unplugged/replugged.

Top notch dash cam in the market, easy install, no troubles, 4k pictures clear n crystal u can't go wrong. so just enjoy the security it offers!

The Rexing-V5 is a good dash cam however its kinda hard setting up and impossible to pair wifi with my iphone if you dont want to use your phone with this dash cam then its ok.

Item is well packaged and easy to unpack, the images are crystal clean and see details that I don't see. Love it

An amazing Dash Cam, the image quality is great and I'm even surprised with the durability. I left it on in the car for two days during a heatwave. The LCD screen looked like it was done for, it had distorted burn in appearance. I took it in the house and after the device cooled down I hooked it back up and the screen was back to normal. Though I wouldn't recommended leaving this out in the heat like that. I may of just got lucky.

Received my Rexing V5 Plus 3 Channel Dashcam which includes the front facing camera, a cabin cam and a rear window cam. It arrived nicely boxed and the pieces appear sturdy and well built. It has some cool features but also a few quirks. The front camera records in 4K 3840x2160 resolution offering a beautiful clear picture, although the LCD is only 2.7" so sometimes difficult to make things out. The cabin and rear window cams record in just 1080P but look really great to me. However the cabin camera has a purple tint and could not be considered color. I have seen other people speaking about this defect so hopefully the company will be able to get that fixed? The rear camera is colorful and clear. I personally will not be using the cabin cam as I placed this unit in my Corvette which does not have a rear seat but I did test it out in my Honda Element before mounting permanently in the Vette. The one advantage to the cabin cam however is it simply plugs into the side of your front camera and needs no extra cords. One issue I AM finding, at least with mine, is the unit runs VERY HOT. I mean you can barely touch it and I have it wired properly using all provided cords. I tried it out of my car using a 12V charger in the house to be sure it wasn't a car issue and it still was VERY hot. I have contacted the company and hope to have an answer back if they feel I should worry about this or not. The setup had great clear night vision recordings too. In the box was provided a 32GB Micro SD card, although it states none are provided. I had already ordered a 128GB but will return as the camera will just record over your old videos anyway. I also love the voice control feature! Wow! So easy to use without fumbling for buttons to push. You can ask a number of things such as TURN ON or OFF SCREEN, LOCK THE VIDEO, TAKE PHOTO, VIDEO START or STOP, SHOW FRONT or REAR CAMERA or all 3, TURN ON AUDIO or OFF AUDIO and finally TURN ON or OFF WIFI. Unfortunately I had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wifi app but will keep working on it. One thing I don't care for however is the fact once you mount this you cannot adjust the camera to face you at all. Where you put it, it remains. I feel the company needs to give us a little leeway here because the camera just sits facing straight back and as I mentioned, because the LCD is small, it's rather difficult to really see when it's not even facing you. Just my opinion on this. The rear camera mounts easily and is a super nice small form factor. I just put it on my rear window and you don't even notice it's there but it does its job well. I would recommend this Rexing V5 Plus in spite of a few shortcomings. Aside from the mounting issue I know the other things can be fixed. There are a lot of super nice features with this Dashcam outfit so definitely worth looking into if you are the market for one.

I got the Rexing V5 with cabin and rear cam on sale for a good price. I’ve been using this for about a month now. It’s more bad than good. Pros: It’s a good value and includes 3 cameras. Can easily tilt the cameras for the best angle. Wires are extra long, good enough for most cars and suvs. Wires can easily be hidden for a clean install. 32gb micro sd card included. Cons: Cheap feeling build quality. I have a Cobra dash cam in my other car and it feels a lot better than this Rexing. Everything from the dashcam’s menu and software to the app is just terrible. It’s like technology from the 90’s. The buttons on the bottom of the dashcam don’t work half the time. Everything is frustrating to use. License plates cannot be seen unless a car is up close. So don’t expect to read plates from more than 12 feet away when viewing your video clips. The believe the only way to transfer the video clips onto your phone (or anywhere) is by detaching the micro sd card. I tried with the app and it was not possible to do it wirelessly. You can only view your recordings on the app. Total bummer. It’s advertised as 4k but video quality is not great so it’s most likely not true 4k but upscaled. Plus it’s only 30 fps. Verdict: This feels like an unfinished product by a little known company. I’m surprised they got Bestbuy to sell their product quite honestly. This is a cheap product you’d expect Amazon to sell. I would say get this only if it’s on sale and don’t at full price.

Really nice camera, easy to install. Wish it would stay at 4k when all 3 cameras active but it switches to HD

I got this rexing dash cam. It has worked flawlessly. It is easy to operate from my phone. And is just what I needed to put in my new car. This camera has awesome night time capabilities. When you put your memory card in your computer it will show exactly where you are on a google map. This camera does more than cameras 3 times the cost. Customer support is awesome. Easy to work with. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Fairly easy set up in car. Cameras have some room to adjust position one is mounted. This has voice prompts so you can command camera. It went off a few times while i was on the phone but that's the only flaw I've experienced since I've owned this for a month. I wish this has side cameras i could add but all in all this was a decent buy.

This is the most expensive dash cam I bought and so far, it satisfies all my demand. The recorded video is much clearer than my old one and it will be very helpful for me, as a part time uber driver. My old dash cam is 1080p and I realized it video quality is too low, and it could not catch car plate when cars move very fast. It comes with rear cam too. Like it!

Turns out this system did not meet my need. It was actually way more than I needed. Thank God the installers allowed me to see before it was installed

Everything was great quality ! It shipped to me the next day & The cameras and screen all came with protective wrap over the lens so you could install without scratching . The cables have arrows so you know which way to install and when there fully locked in . The seller was very responsive with all my questions . 100% reccomend this for anyone that needs a dash cam. Great product !

Randomly does not record, I deliver things all day, it fails at least three times daily. I am using the smart hard wire kit and plan to put yellow and red wire on to ignition power only to see if this fixes it. we have 10 of this model camera and the cigarette lighter option doesn't seem to have this problem. Decent playback resolution, easy to navigate menu (after latest firmware update) , only likes Kingston SD cards. For the money it is the best option I found and tested for less than $500.
