I like ear cups that are more plush like my Sony 1000XM3's though. I'm trying out the Kraken's instead right now and like them better so far. Exact same price too. These also feel a little cheaper in build quality generally.

Posted .Hi! Thank you for your honest review on our RIG 400HX headset, however I am sorry to hear about your experience. If your microphone doesn't seem to work, please check where the mic plugs into the headset. There's a notch to help it stick in place and if the mic is in upside down, it won't click in all the way. Try halfway unplugging the mic, rotating it 180 degrees, and plugging it back in. You may want to also test the headset connected to your mobile to see if issue persists. Doing some initial reviews, thought that this was going to be a home run. Man I was wrong. The design is cheap. The drivers are subpar at best. If you are looking for an excellent headset, then go with the Hyper X, Arctis, or the Astro A50s

I returned it. Sound quality was good but not loud enough as regular headphones even with Dolby atoms as advertised.
