It sounds very low when connected to the controller even when the volume is all the way up. It does not have sound isolation and the 3D surround sound is not there, unless you play in total silence. I tested it playing Call of Duty and Cyberpunk and it did not pass the test. I will buy another higher end headset and keep this one as back up in case my main headset fails.

Posted .Hi Cacique, Please contact Nacon Customer Support at support.us@nacongaming.com regarding low volume. They can help you troubleshoot that issue. This is not an issue we've heard of before. Regarding Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound, after downloading the free Dolby Access app on Xbox or PC and entering your Dolby Atmos activation code included with this headset, you will get Dolby Atmos surround sound on games that are coded with Dolby Atmos. You must also set your Xbox console audio settings to Dolby Atmos. (Dolby Atmos does not work on PS4/PS5). The current list of Dolby Atmos compatible games (March 2021) includes:

The sound is great on my end and the volume adjustment allowed for the flexibility I needed depending on what game I was playing. What my friends didn’t like was that the mic is so sensitive that everybody else in my party would here an echo of their own voice. The mic picks up everything in the room including ambient sounds including the sound coming from the headphones. Biggest gripe though is how absolutely brittle this headset is. This headset has broken 3 times on me in less than a year! Good thing I have a warranty but I think this time I’ll be upgrading.
